The vehement opposition to ketchup on a Chicago dog might have been the scariest part of many of my visits to Chicago.

I know what you mean about the "ketchup stigma" in Chicago. Some Chicagoan's can be better described as "hot dog Nazi's" because they're obsessed with other people not putting ketchup on their dogs. What can I say? Some people have no manners lol. I've always cooked for people with the belief that you can suggest what they should eat but you can't tell them how to eat it. It's a little like people who like steak medium rare and think people who like it medium well have an eating disorder lol. There's a place called Gene's & Jude's in River Grove Illinois right outside Chicago that will not even provide ketchup for your fries. I went there once and never went back because sometimes i like ketchup with my fries. What can I say ?? !!

@@johnterczak9256 John, hair is a superficial embellishment (btw I do have a full head of hair), its the "fire in the belly" that counts, and I can only surmise you have it, ten fold! Some years ago, I ran a small quick print shop and hired Jack Horwitz 70+ in years and to this day he was the sharpest most savvy man I have ever met!!

Very cool thanks. We were raised on hotdogs. There are two classic NJ Hotdogs- Jimmy Buff and Rutt`s Hutt.

Thank you and you're welcome. I know about Jimmy Buff in east orange. I lived in that area for a while, which is where my ex wife is from.
