Excellent video! A newbie with the same remote control and this is such a clear instruction video that not only helps me understand how to program, but how to read the remote! So wish you had more videos!! So much to learn!

Straightforward tutorial. Thanks. Have ms4448PAE and would like to equalize. Many manuals and magnum site state it can be done with arc--50; but mine only showing options for float, absorb, multistage and silent. Any recommendations?

Anthony Krusel Sorry about the late response, just got back from an install in Haiti. As you probably already know, only flooded batteries can be equalized. If you have flooded batteries go to 03 - Charger Setup in the ARC. This will let you choose gel, flooded, agm, agm2 or custom. If you know your battery specs of the absorb, float and eq., then choose the custom option and input the correct voltage values (page 12 of the ARC manual rev B). If you have chosen flooded or custom in the 03 charger setup menu, you will be allowed to EQ. Equalization charging can only be enabled while the charger is in float charge. To turn on equalization charge, ensure the display reads float charging or full charge, then press and hold down the on/off charger button for 5 seconds until the display reads "equalizing". (Page 53 of the same manual). It also says the equalize charge will continue for 4 hours and automatically stops. But it's my experience that it's best to equalize for one hour at a time, checking the electrolyte level and specific gravity at the end of each hour. If after checking specific gravity you determine that it requires more equalization, then hit them again for another hour...then recheck specific gravity and electrolyte levels. Hope this helps.
