This song is a masterpiece..true heavy metal..vocals.. melody.. rhythm changes.. like 2 songs combined..and that guitar playing..solo..Jag Panzer at its greatest and over 20 years ago!
I remember I think it was 80 81 in Colorado springs they played in my basement lwas 16 what a night l remember him standing on a amp and singing to my ceiling I'm almost 60 now and there still rocking!
Funny and sad the same time: the majority of people love their Metallicas, Megadeths, Anthraxes and so on but never had a clue such bands as JP ever existet. This band should headline Megaevents!! Love, Peace & Respect from Germany!
Looks like the video was shot from the summit of Pike's Peak. The band is from Colorado Springs, and I went to high school with one of the band member's sons at Air Academy High School. That's at over 14,000 feet! It's pretty cold up that high, and the air is quite thin!
This song is great!!! I remember when the 4th judgement album first was released. I listened to that album many, many times over. This band is inspiring because it has emotion and energy in the music and vocals. That's what makes the best rock and metal albums. There is no song that I don't like from this band. I have been a fan for years.
Jag panzer is Americas Iron Maiden. I have several albums by them. Although they never really hit the commercial mainstream they have a loyal fan base.
You guys definitely rock! Definitely prefer this style of metal vocalist than all this "cookie monster" singers (?) out there now. The 500 bpm drummers bore the hell outta me as well. Sean Black
Best thing ive heard next to Immortal in years.. The lead guitarist (Chris broderick?) is so good its insane! Cant believe these guys wernt huge ! They make Metallica look like Poison
Jag Panzer are the most under rated, under appreciated metal band ever. The dude that made that Anvil doc chose the wrong band. Panzer have been around almost as long and 100 x better.
we don't care about them man...they killed everything in music...many bands then, and many bands now(and we're talking about kick ass heavy metal bands-check out in solitude for example-)never made it because of them and of the trends created by the music industry...I saw Jag Panzer a few years ago:they KICKED ASS!Hail!
I wonder if someone said that day "dude, are you really going to record the video dressed like that?" or "dude, stop pointing your hands to the sky like that, we get it, its the name of the song" The next time I want to listen this song I'll make sure it's just the static album cover showing.
GEORGE MEINTANIS Conklin is good..real good. But go look at some live Lost Horizon. I think that singers name was Daniel Heiman or something like that....he's other worldly
Im not a huge grunge fan, but Nirvana wasnt big for their musicianship at all. Kurt's song writing is just outta this world. He doesn't even have that great of a voice, he just has presence and knows how to use it. I am a metalhead but still can give respect to Nirvana, even though they are bigger than they should have been.
@FalseWitnessScoob lol dude, it's power metal vocals. they are actually damn good for power metal too. that's like hating on 99% of Thrash vocalists because of how they sing. or Death Metal vocalists. each genre has it's own distinct singing style and there's nothing wrong with any of them. as a guitarist myself, i listen to bands mostly concerned for guitar virtuosity. Lemme guess, you think Chris Broderick sucks because he's not Marty Friedman, right? Quit being so damn close minded
@Metalicalypse So, I'm a square brain for pointing out the difference between 2 bands, one of which I didnt bring up in the first place, correct? Oh, my feelings...........................................HA!
well I have to be in the mood for these kind of vocals. but i can listen to megadeth any time. and although I'm glad Chris went to megadeth I really wish he could juggle both but let's face Dave isn't going to let him do that.
I love this song, but it seems to me like the mixing could've been a bit better. It seems like the snare drum is way too loud compared to everything else. Up the cymbals and guitar a bit, then it'd sound a lot better.
Such a great band.... they really deserve recognition. I bought all of their CD's.
Besides the USAF Academy, the US Army 10th Mtn Division, & the 10th Mtn Div. Distillery; Jag Panzer are the best thing to ever come out of Colorado.
One of the most underrated bands of all times..
criminally underrated
This song is a masterpiece..true heavy metal..vocals.. melody.. rhythm changes.. like 2 songs combined..and that guitar playing..solo..Jag Panzer at its greatest and over 20 years ago!
saw Jag Panzer open for Helloween in Montreal---wow, great show!!! Axe heaven that nite
Think I was there too at same show. Cob, jag panzer, hanker, Helloween at the le medley, which from what I read is torn down for condos.
I remember I think it was 80 81 in Colorado springs they played in my basement lwas 16 what a night l remember him standing on a amp and singing to my ceiling I'm almost 60 now and there still rocking!
Chris at his best. So glad and happy for him! Now he’s In Flames 🔥
WOW...how did I ever miss this band !!!
Brodereick RULES !!! 🤟
Yeah!! Broderick is a beast!!!
One of my absolute favorite bands for many years!
what a memories!!this song is underrated as hell
Funny and sad the same time: the majority of people love their Metallicas, Megadeths, Anthraxes and so on but never had a clue such bands as JP ever existet. This band should headline Megaevents!! Love, Peace & Respect from Germany!
people who think Broderick is a soulless and boring guitarist never heard Jag Panzer
Broderick brought Jag Panzer to a higher level. They are not the same without him.
@Ewolf5150 Lots of notes, not enough soul. Technically brilliant.
those who think that shit sure are fans of dino cazares

Criminally underrated. Why would you not like this?
i heard of them in highschool hard to find them back then
Jag Panzer sempre foi uma grande banda, que não teve o merecido sucesso.
We need "Take to the Sky" live on Stage now!
I'm with you man, Jag Panzer released lots of killer discs over their long career, but never got the success they deserved.
Best Heavy Metal Song ever, Epic as Hell. Love it Forever!
Mechanized Warfare is a TOP20 Metal Album, perfect. Everything was perfect
Their first music video isn't it?
Just to good to describe it
Being from Colorado they never had a problem with epic video locales.
This song is great!!! I remember when the 4th judgement album first was released. I listened to that album many, many times over. I love that fucking solo. So damn complete: melodic and shredtastic all in one.
Just amazing. It's a shame I honestly didn't hear about this band until Chris Broderick joined Megadeth. Shred on Broderick!
Great live act, saw them in '04 at the Brave Words & Bloody Knuckles weekend festival in Cleveland. They're solid.
This kicks ass! Great video + Great song!
JAG PANZER RULES!!!!!!! ^^
Best Metal Band
Jag panzer is Americas Iron Maiden. I have several albums by them. Although they never really hit the commercial mainstream they have a loyal fan base.

Funny they say the album is from 2007 but it came out in 2001.
Anywho, I got my dad into this cd a few years back
Love that intro
LOOOOVE the solo
Qué H I J A D E P U T A banda tan hp!!! One of the greatest bands ever, as simple as that!
thank you
Chris Broderick is one of the greatest guitar players in the world.
Great song.
best band ever!!
I like it. Its almost like Meshuggah merged with Iron maiden.
First panzer i got was this one. And the list went on since \m/
Jag Panzer are the most under rated, under appreciated metal band ever. The dude that made that Anvil doc chose the wrong band. Panzer have been around almost as long and 100 x better.

AWESOME SIMPLY AWESOME
I listen to this album at least once a month. Fuckin badass! \m/,
I wonder if someone said that day "dude, are you really going to record the video dressed like that?" or "dude, stop pointing your hands to the sky like that, we get it, its the name of the song"
The next time I want to listen this song I'll make sure it's just the static album cover showing.
XD
best metal singer ever or you are deaf!!
GEORGE MEINTANIS Conklin is good..real good. But go look at some live Lost Horizon. I think that singers name was Daniel Heiman or something like that....he's other worldly
I saw them 20 something years ago opening up for in flames
\m/ the mighty Jag Panzer
Im not a huge grunge fan, but Nirvana wasnt big for their musicianship at all. Kurt's song writing is just outta this world. He doesn't even have that great of a voice, he just has presence and knows how to use it. I am a metalhead but still can give respect to Nirvana, even though they are bigger than they should have been.
Love it
yes this is his previous band before megadeth olso he played for Nevermore as a second guitarist along with Jeff
one of brodericks bests solos!
Nice album!
too good to be true!!!
A Master Piece of Amerikan Metal!
good shit
@FalseWitnessScoob
lol dude, it's power metal vocals. they are actually damn good for power metal too. that's like hating on 99% of Thrash vocalists because of how they sing. or Death Metal vocalists. each genre has it's own distinct singing style and there's nothing wrong with any of them. as a guitarist myself, i listen to bands mostly concerned for guitar virtuosity. i know for a fact that chris broderick was in this band at one point, but just wondering, was he in the band in this song?
Yeah, he’s the one doing the solo lmao
🤘🏻
This album is from 2001
i always respected JP but never really caught fire with them. that said they have a handfull of songs i love
Where can I find Broderick's guitar tabs for this song? I cant find them anywhere.
Is that Louis CK playing drums?
@walshy0001 +1 :) and Broderick is just a monster.
Where is the synth player from the clip?
me gustaria que lo traducieran
you are welcome
And the Tyrant rules.
🤘🏿🤘🏿🤘🏿🇮🇩
Much agreed, but OMG! is that you in the pic? if so; how did such a pretty girl like you get turned on to Jag Panzer?
FRIIIIISS MEINEN SAAAAAACK!
The Jag Panzer vids and the Iced Earth DVD are good enough reason for Mark Briody to stick to playing guitar instead of making videos.
anyone have guitar tabs to this kickass song
jesus, some people act like they have never heard of power metal
wow i love it how i got a thumbs down on my earlier comment for asking about a band that i was generaly interested in enough to ask about them. =/
Probably the singer likes Michael Angelo hair cut xD
Btw, nice song!
Well, since Chris is "soloing", Jag must be good enough.
You consider Nirvana heavy?
I love this song, but it seems to me like the mixing could've been a bit better. It seems like the snare drum is way too loud compared to everything else. Up the cymbals and guitar a bit, then it'd sound a lot better.
True...but they are from Colorado so I guess it kinda fits ya know?
is this the unofficial anthem of the US Airforce?
holy shit. I didn't know you could make a music vid on a phone!
Love Jag Panzer, but this looks like a music video a group of dads filmed on an IPhone.
did chris broderick from megadeth in this band
hahahahah :D
epic video XD
As song is fantastic, but the video is ridiculous, lol.😀😁
@@simpap7838 haha yeah it is! :D
Jesus, 🤨 cue the "most underrated band ever" comments!
better than that shit of today
wish Chris didn't leave
Saw the guitarist from First Fragment wearing this bands shirt. Checked em out. Love it. It's like...Dio but way, way more betterer.
I always thought he said Dead to the sky lol
Hahaha.... I know that! When I heard Metallica's "The Four Horsemen" you know what I understood? The forest man :-)))
The singer could sing for Iron Maiden or something...
Video=1*
Audio=10*
@kekkai666 Haters gon' hate
I'm here just because First Fragment
hahahahaa :P
wow, so easy to see he's lip syncing, but good song
