Follow-up: Hello! I wanted to post up now that I've purchased one of these. First, your video was very helpful to my decision making process. Second, I have ZERO buyers remorse about this incredible machine. From ease of assembly to functionality, this machine is a MUST BUY that I absolutely love! One thing that most people haven't done that we did was put it in our 2nd floor home gym space. I carried all of the parts/components upstairs solo. Was it heavy, kinda, but not too bad at all. Once assembled, it's solid as a rock! I would easily recommend this to anyone needing a diverse piece of equipment. Even with the 2:1 weight ratio in the pulley system, I've not come more than about 60% of the way to the full weight of the stack and I'm strong. So there's plenty of weight to use! Smooth as butter too!!! Thanks for helping me conclude that this was the right machine for our needs!!
How’s everything holding up on the second floor? I was thinking about doing the same but wasn’t sure if the floor would cave in. This thing weighs 544lbs plus your body weight all in a small section of a room.
I love how compact it is. Thank you so much for sharing and I look forward to more videos of the flips and also how you learned to do them. I still want to learn how to do backflips 🙏🙏🏽🙏🏻
Thanks for demoing the different workouts you can do with the machine. Most reviews say they can do a lot with the machine, but it's hard to imagine sometimes. This just hit the top of my buying list =)
I just bought this and was stuck on step 2. Thanks for the great video to show the assembly and a lot of awesome exercises that I didn’t even know about.
Is it heavier then dumbbells or free weights if you maxed out with plates, 165 lb n each side by doing bench press? In reality I believe it’s about 80 lb on each side. Thanks
I LOVE THIS THING! just assembled it, so easy to put together.. all i need in my life is a few different weighted slam balls.. weighted vest... ankle weights.. my rouge echo... and this beautiful all in one creature comfort... I would love a row machine and Jacobs Ladder one day though..
Heeey! THANK YOU for this video! I'm considering this and your assembly AND demo segments answered SOOOO many questions I had!! Thank you again!! Great video!! One question: is the pullup bar structurally important or can it be left off??
The best all around video for this product. Set up, plus a great demo. Glad to see one person can assemble. I’m having mine delivered Friday, so I’m feeling good about the purchase after seeing your video. Can you tell me if the two main side stations could be carried up a flight of stairs by one guy, one at a time of course. It looks like you handled them pretty easily out of the box. Do you think they weigh more than 50 lbs apiece?
Yes it’s possible although you might struggle a bit, it can be done. And I believe they might weigh more then 50 Ibs , not quite sure. The weight does feel awkward to carry tho
Did you run into any problems with the cables? Like one side being smoother then the other?? Mine came that way, I'm not sure if it's lube I need or to have it replaced.
I did not have that problem, I’d say lube up the gliding rails first and if it’s still not smooth then get it replaced, also check to see if the pulley wheels aren’t to tight
Thanks for sharing but how will you operate the garage if you were to park the car ? I am debating where to assemble mine as I may need to park or semi park the car depending on the cold weather…I am thinking of keeping in the innermost corner so only. However the goal of garage workout against keeping in the basement is the fresh air …. Been a week that giant box is sitting in my garage but unable to decide where to keep it
I personally don’t park my car in my garage but with all my gym equipment it take up only half the garage, I just chose to put it all on the half closest to the garage door.
Great video!! Question: Where are the labels that stick onto each individual weight located in the packaging (1, 2, 3, 4, etc)? I haven't been able to find them. Super frustrating.
I'm using your video for assembly instructions. Question; my order only came with 10 plates on each side. I noticed you had 15 did you order extra weight? If so from where?
I wonder if it’s possible to hack the Inspire FTX and increase the weight/resistance with the optional weight stacks available for the Inspire FT 1 + shorter cables or with resistance bands attached to the weight stacks! My only fear is that i will outgrow the resistance and be stuck with it but the higher capacity FT1 is double the price with only a marginal increase in resistance!
It’s honesty plenty enough weight. I was concerned too. Just received mine and put it together today. Man it’s smooth. I tried the whole stack and I honestly can’t think of any exercises I could do to use it to its max potential. Coming from a guy with 1200Lb+ total. I’m really excited to use it.
So what's the difference between this Cisco one and the inspire FT1? Also deciding between this ones and the rwp fitness ft 3000? Also how do you hold yourself down when doing lat pull downs?
The ft1 can go up to 215 Ibs and the ftx (Costco one) can only go up to 165. I personally have not tried the rep ft 3000 so I can’t really compare, but the ftx is definitely a great machine in my opinion. I do light weight for high reps so I don’t need to be anchored down.
I'm curious, what is the lightest weight on there? I heard it was 15 lbs, and I'm wondering it must get lighter than that? I'm thinking of for lateral raises... ty.
So with no pin in the stack it starts at 5 Ibs and then from there each plate is 10 Ibs, but you have to keep in mind that this machine pulls at a 2:1 ratio witch means 5 Ibs = 2.5 Ibs, 15 Ibs = 7.5 Ibs, etc… so each weight stack is 165 ibs but it’s really 82.5 per pulley.
Just curious do you think you could go without the pull up bar on top my ceiling height in my basement gym is only 85inchs and I read that it’s 85 inches tall so to save some head room I thought about removing it if I got one
I think you could get away with it but you’ll definitely lose a lot of stability, if I still had mine I would test it out for you but I already sold it, sorry.

@@jcard959 Thank you very much! I asked because I was considering buying one myself after watching your workout videos...it seems a really good machine.
I have an upstairs gym at home consisting of a treadmill, spin bike and a set of 50lb powerblocks. I am concerned the Inspire might be too heavy for upstairs in my house. My house is 15 yrs. old.
So should I sell my small valor lat pull down machine and my v3 titan cable tower and get one of this functional cable trainers?? Can I do everything my lat pull downachine can do?
I like it , I’ve already had the Ft1,scs smith cage, and now this and there all the same as far as smoothness goes. And for me it’s heavy enough. I mostly use it for Accessory work or as a finisher. Definitely adds to your workout
@@jcard959 I just wonder if the weights really feel 165lb or 10lbs each. I do a lot of cable exercise and hoping it will help. plus I am 6'2 and was wondering about height issues?
@@allanhowell1121 I believe this machine is 1:2 ratio so it’s half of that and for me high isn’t a issue but I do feel like I berly hit the Mark. For instance on Tricep cable pull Downs I feel as if I were 2 inches taller I’d have to do that exercise on my knees (I’m 6 feet)
@@allanhowell1121 yeah 1:1 ratio would be you pulling the full weight and 1:2 ratio is more assistance so it would be about half the weight. And I personally would recommend it, I like inspire fitness equipment even tho it’s a bit expensive, but I’d probably look into the ft1 because they have a 200 Ib weight stack option. But if you do decide on the ftx id recommend you to buy it from Costco, it’s a lot cheaper.
