Born Again is my favorite comicbook story of all time! Miller's run on DD is one of comics' greatest runs ever and I believe it's still his best work. Man Without Fear is a great story but I really had problems with Matt killing the assassin at the end. Just kinda felt like not Matt for me. Otherwise, a great run from start to finish by a legend.
I agree that him killing the guy is a bit out of character (especially since Zdarsky’s run) but I see it more as Matt acting in self defense and him not having a good handle on gun combat yet It’s more of a mistake of his early days as opposed to a line he’s comfortable crossing
