Mark Waid's Daredevil is next to Frank Miller on quality terms. His Daredevil is faithful to the character's early days and continues Andy Diggle's run.

I know everyone loves days of future past but I wish we got a proper First Class 2
Born Again is my favorite comicbook story of all time! Miller's run on DD is one of comics' greatest runs ever and I believe it's still his best work. Man Without Fear is a great story but I really had problems with Matt killing the assassin at the end. Just kinda felt like not Matt for me. Otherwise, a great run from start to finish by a legend.
I agree that him killing the guy is a bit out of character (especially since Zdarsky’s run) but I see it more as Matt acting in self defense and him not having a good handle on gun combat yet It’s more of a mistake of his early days as opposed to a line he’s comfortable crossing
Just saw your Daredevil vids and they're great! I was wondering where your other vids for the series are? Hopefully you get to finish this series since Daredevil is my favorite character and he has a lot of great runs throughout the years and I don't see much youtube videos discussing all the 5 runs you mentioned (and maybe you can add in Soule's run too hehe). Sorry they’re not all up yet! Life is busy right now so I’m trying to find the time to sit down and get them out But I’m glad you enjoyed this video! And yes I’ve thought about adding Soule’s run since I recently finished it and really enjoyed it

am i the onlyone who enjoyed watching season 1?
Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy the first season, but some of the earlier episodes grinded the shows pacing for me. But that’s just my opinion
I really starting liking the show after TRACKS, but I get it.
A really solid episode and I agree it’s one of the better ones in season 1
when daisy got shot that was my turning point

That was when the show introduced stakes for the lead characters and I enjoy it a lot more for it. I just think Ward’s conversion to hydra and the character play established in Turn Turn Turn led to the rest of the season picking up in terms of pacing and identity

Think you sell episodes 1-16 short. I see them as "essential soil" needed for all the amazing blossoms we get later as fans 👍😎
Oh I agree 100% those episodes were essential. But some of the groundwork was laid well in some episodes, and others were “FZZT”
@@characterstudied3981 FZZT is the only one of the first 10 episodes I actually enjoyed... there is nothing wrong with it. It shows Coulson's humanity when he refuses to leave just to comfort the dying firefighter. It shows how important Jemma is to Fitz that he is willing to risk his life for her, which is important for one of first episodes as we don't know these characters that well yet at that point. It also has direct connection to Chitaury invasion and Ward jumping out of airplane is also mentioned later as one of ways for him to convince the team that he can be trusted. A very important and emotional episode.
I enjoyed All of Season 1. Episodes 6 and 10 were solid, but it was Episode 11, that's my "moment" it went into overdrive.

Interesting take. Best part is the analysis of the shot where Jefferson crosses the halfway point of the shot symbolizing his compromise. Good stuff
