Hi There. No I already had a Facebook intergration from Shopify. But if youre trying to do that, its counter-intuitive. Think about it. You have a website and you want people from FB and IG not to buy from your website but instead from their platform. What happens when someone from FB or IG abandons the sale. You never got their email. no SEO. Whats the value? Just a thought.
This video is so helpful! However, I miserably fail to add products to sub categories. For example: Wall art - Canvas -Posters When I add the Canvas collection to Canvas- it's all good . Then, when I switch to Posters, and try to add the Posters collection, it adds it to Canvas too. So now when I visit the Canvas sub category in the store, I see the posters collection, both on the Canvas and Posters categories When I go back to Canvas and try to fix it, the Poster section is no longer showing the "Poster" collection, but the Canvas collection . It's driving me crazy. Yes, all tags are correct. All products are in the correct collections. And , yes, I press "save" every time, before heading to the next step
Are you adding products by cloning an old one that perhaps might have an old tag? Have you inspected inside the collections to see if the products shows up on the backend? There must be a reason why its showing up in both.
I appreciate this video, it's very informative! I followed all of the steps and still cannot see the products (I did notice the second tag isn't showing up as highlighted blue). I suspect this has something to do with me changes the product collection name attached to the previous products?? I was able to get one product to load on the front end when I updated the menu to product not collection--problem being is I have to add in all the products with the collections products visible and then show the sub categories like in the video. Any thoughts what else might be happening (most likely 100% something I did like unknowingly deleting the product visibility from the page or something). Thoughts?

so i have a BIG problem. I have a general store and i am selling also clothes. I have clothing for women and men. the problem is if i go to my clothing collection and click on one of the other collections ( in this case its women and men collection) it just stays on the collection page and isnt showing the products i put on the other 2 collections can you please help?
Check your two other collections inside the admin to see if they are listed there. becuase if it shows for one collection, the product works. Its your collections setup thats the issue.

Check the conditions on the Collections Page. You might have it set to aim for tags which the product is showing up on both collections. If not tags, then the collection has a condition where that product shows up on more than one collection. Check that first.

Hey man so I hope this get attention because i’m really upset n frustrated as yu explained in the beginning of the video, but it’s not with the problem you spoke on, it’s with an error that pops up “{:src=>”error updating collection with this image”}. This pops up everytime i try to add photos from a photo shoot i had and payed for, i don’t have any issue getting the photo to the collection image but it won’t allow me to save and it’s driving me insane! please help a brother out‼️
What do you do if you create the collection, completed all of the steps you've explained but the item is still not showing up in the collection? I have changed the name many times to accomodate the category conditions, changed the Product Conditions to match and still don't see it, can't even manually add it in.

Make sure to check the spelling as even a extra space in the word can throw it off

This depends on which theme youre using or if youre using any apps. So this depends on your current setup.

Did you make sure the product is set to Active? Does the collection page appear empty?

Hey if I go to „Onlinestore“ there is only „Themes“ no „pages“ or „navigation“ etc how can I fix that?
Is it your store or did someone give you permission to access the store? You might have limited access.

Thats a separate app that you can buy from the Shopify app store. Then program that as a link.

Have you tested this on incognito mode?
Remember you have to put the product in collections as well not just in the menu i just pointed that mistake out of mine!!

I did my navigation, I set up with my kitchen collection it only shows one item though when I have 8
Make sure you have the other products active and with Positive inventory. Also make sure the products have the Online Store channel active.

I’m still building my store. I don’t see conditions in my collections . When I view my store I only see products not collections
If you dont have conditions, this means your collection is Manual. You have to add the products manually into the collection.

When I click on products the only available options are inventory, purchase orders and gift cards. None of the options you have

Make sure youre collections are properly configured to the correct pages. Products live in collections, where collections get assigned pages.

If you programmed using the tag method, you can go into bulk editor and see those that do not have the tags of that collection.
