    Great review. You've convinced me to make these the boxes on my Tiger. Also, "hit the dislike button twice" made me lol.

    Good review. I still wonder if you can secure the soft panniers with a cable lock or "SteelCore" from opening like the ones from Mosko Moto. It seems the Bumot soft panniers are missing the required lugs.

    • @AdventureTravelandScuba
      @AdventureTravelandScuba  3 года назад

      Yes that im not sure of dos not look like it do. That is why i use the hard Paniers when traveling on longer trips

    Thanks for showing us.
    I'll ask father Christmas!...
    But tell me... Why having the hard + the soft panniers???

    • @AdventureTravelandScuba
      @AdventureTravelandScuba  3 года назад +1

      I use soft off road hard Panniers off road are very unsafe and can brake your leg, I trapped my leg way too many times under hard panier when even jus dap not necessarily fall

    • @ed5311
      @ed5311 3 года назад +1

      Yes, that's very much logical but... I don't have the budget for the 2 solutions! 🤔

    • @AdventureTravelandScuba
      @AdventureTravelandScuba  3 года назад

      If you travel more on road less off road definitely hard Paniers as you can lock your content and use them as a tabke and sitting on when camping if you don't want to carry additional camping chair I did quite a bit off road with hard boxes very durable even dropped my bike on pavement no issue

    • @ed5311
      @ed5311 3 года назад +1

      @@AdventureTravelandScuba That could be the solution.
      Hard panniers seem to be more practical.
      Any big difference in their weight?

    • @AdventureTravelandScuba
      @AdventureTravelandScuba  3 года назад

      Yes there is quite a bit of a difference in weight soft are way lighter if weight is considered. You can check the exact specs on Bumot website, never thought about weighing them

    I put the SW-Motech luggage rack on my africa twin but I'd really like to use those Bumot soft bags. The locking mount looks great. Is it possible for you to reply with some measurements so I can see if the lugs will fit the SW-Motech rack.

    • @AdventureTravelandScuba
      @AdventureTravelandScuba  4 года назад

      tell me what measurements you need?

    • @kevinpursey4464
      @kevinpursey4464 4 года назад +1

      My understanding for the lugs is that they must fit within the luggage frame. I'd like to know the distance for the bottom lugs measuring from the outside edges and then the distance from the centre-line of the top-lug to the bottom lug. As I'm in Calgary, once you get back to me I may make a run down to RockyMountainHonda and see what's in stock. Thanks.
