Based on one of the most beautyful poems in Spanish language. Actually you can translate the lyrics to any language and still sounds epic and romantic: "My law the strenght of the wind, my only homeland the sea".

Del uno al otro confín
From one to the other end
verse
Navega velero mío
Sail my sailing ship
Sin temor que ni enemigo navío
Without fear that an enemy ship
Ni tormenta ni bonanza
Neither a storm nor affluence
Tu rumbo a torcer alcanza
Can twist your way
Ni a sujetar tu valor
Nor to hold your courage
verse
Veinte presas hemos hecho
Twenty prizes we have got
A despecho del inglés
In spite of the English
Y han rendido sus pendones
And their banners they have surrendered
Cien naciones a mis pies
A hundred nations at my feet

Que es mi barco mi tesoro

What's my god, my liberty
Mi ley la fuerza y el viento
My law, the force and the wind
Mi única patria la mar
My only homeland is the sea
verse
La luna en el mar riela
The moon on the sea shines
Y en la lona gime el viento
And the wind moans on the sails
Y alza en blando movimiento
And in swift movement lifts
Olas de plata y azul
Waves of silver and blue
verse
Y ve el capitán pirata
And see the pirate captain
Cantando alegre en la popa
Singing happily on the stern
Asia a un lado, al otro Europa
On one side Asia, on the other Europe
Y allá a su frente Estambul
And there in front of you Istanbul
verse
Allá muevan feroz guerras
Out there fierce wars move
Ciegos reyes,
Por un palmo más de tierra
Blind kings,
For another span of land
Que yo tengo aquí por mío
That I have here as mine
Cuanto abarca el mar bravío
As far as the wild sea reaches
A quien nadie impuso leyes
To whom no one imposed laws
Y no hay playa sea cualquiera
And there's no beach whatsoever
Ni bandera de esplendor
Nor splendid flag
Que no sienta mi derecho
That I don't feel my claim
Y de pecho a mi valor
And supports my courage
En las presas yo divido
In the dams I divide
Lo cogido por igual
what we caught equally
Sólo quiero por riqueza
I only want for wealth
La belleza sin rival
The unrivalled beauty
chorus
Que es mi barco mi tesoro

I'll hang from some lateen,
Quizá; en su propio navío
Perhaps on one's own ship.
Y si caigo ¿Qué es la vida?
And if I fall, what is life?
Por perdida ya la di
For loss I already have it,
Cuando el yugo del esclavo
When the yoke of the slavery
Como un bravo sacudí
Like a brave man, I shook off
Y del trueno al son violento
And from the thunder to the violent sound
Y del viento al rebramar
And from the wind when reverberating
Yo me duermo sosegado,
I sleep calm,
Arrullado por el mar
Lulled by sea.

Mi única patria la mar
My only homeland is the sea
It does not matter what you sing it all sounds great. WOW loved this one !!!!!
Absolutely love this song I'm from new York. U.s. only speak English but it sounds romantic in your language.
I didn’t understand one word but still awesome in every way! Amazing!
I love when you sing in different languages. THANKS. I love you very much. A singer like I have rarely seen and I am 67 years old. Merci Angel ❤
OMG 😱😱😱😱. I just found this!! I don’t understand a single word 😄 but it totally blew my head off 💣😂. DAMN 💖💖💖. I love it!!!❤️❤️❤️
Didn't understand a word but absolutely loved it!
Good song.full of spirit and energy.
I am still listening to this beautiful cover every day. ❤
I don't even have to understand the language barrier to absolutely love this song it's so strong and powerful ❤❤
I love this upbeat song. Well done Dan.
Love this !!!! Something different but great again ! Love the deeper sound !!!! Thanks Dan, hope you are okay !
You sang this in perfect Castilian Spanish. What a beautiful rendition of La Cancion del Pirata. You are definitely the best singer to say nothing of the best looking man it has been my pleasure to gaze upon. You are a treat for the senses and I am grateful for all of it!
That was a brilliant song in any language. It’s great to hear you sing in your own language though, I loved it Dan ❤❤
But Spanish is not Daniels language...its brazilian portuguese
❤ Beautiful!!!! As only Dan could do it
Letra: "Con diez cañones por banda,
Viento en popa, a toda vela,
No corta el mar, sino vuela
Un velero bergatín.
Bajel pirata que llaman,
Por su bravura, El Temido,
En todo mar conocido
Del uno al otro confín.
Navega, velero mío
Sin temor,
Que ni enemigo navío
Ni tormenta, ni bonanza
Tu rumbo a torcer alcanza,
Ni a sujetar tu valor.
Veinte presas
Hemos hecho
A despecho
Del inglés
Y han rendido
Sus pendones
Cien naciones
A mis pies.
Que es mi barco mi tesoro,
Que es mi dios la libertad,
Mi ley, la fuerza y el viento,
Mi única patria, la mar.
La luna en el mar riela
En la lona gime el viento,
Y alza en blando movimiento
Olas de plata y azul;
Y va el capitán pirata,
Cantando alegre en la popa,
Asia a un lado, al otro Europa,
Y allá a su frente Istambul:
Allá; muevan feroz guerra
Ciegos reyes
Por un palmo más de tierra;
Que yo aquí; tengo por mío
Cuanto abarca el mar bravío,
A quien nadie impuso leyes.
Y no hay playa,
Sea cualquiera,
Ni bandera
De esplendor,
Que no sienta
Mi derecho
Y dé pechos mi valor.
En las presas
Yo divido
Lo cogido
Por igual;
Sólo quiero
Por riqueza
La belleza
Sin rival.
Que es mi barco mi tesoro,
Que es mi dios la libertad,
Mi ley, la fuerza y el viento,
Mi única patria, la mar.
¡Sentenciado estoy a muerte!
Yo me río
No me abandone la suerte,
Y al mismo que me condena,
Colgaré de alguna antena,
Quizá; en su propio navío.
Y si caigo,
¿Qué es la vida?
Por perdida
Ya la di,
Cuando el yugo
Del esclavo,
Como un bravo,
Sacudí.
Y del trueno
Al son violento,
Y del viento
Al rebramar,
Yo me duermo
Sosegado,
Arrullado
Por el mar.
Que es mi barco mi tesoro,
Que es mi dios la libertad,
Mi ley, la fuerza y el viento,
Mi única patria, la mar."
❤❤❤❤ thank you so Much....
XD. Vaya tela no?
Incredible versatility, so blown away! #KeepRocking 🎸🥁🎹🥁🥰🙌
Brutal . es una auténtica maravilla
Decir que te quedo genial es quedarse corto.
Speechless....
Dan this was beautiful. Love your voice.
More in Spanish, please!! Not sure if you read this but, when are you adding more videos? Love your energy. Thanks!!
Your Spanish is impeccable. I can listen to this over and over again.
Excelente pronunciación para no ser tu idioma. Sólo puedo decir....Dan eres un fenómeno. Gracias por tu trabajo.
All I have to say is wow!!!!!!😮
He has the best voice for this cover, strong and masculine as it should be ❤❤
Love it given Dan the majestic look .
xx
Well thank you Dan Vasc for a performance I watched mesmerized all the way thru and at the end realized I had no clue what it was about 😂 but loved it so much I looked up the poem "Cancion del Pirata"...only a true artist can garner that reaction 🥰
Perfect cover of a masterpiece! Especially since this is a well known song from the Spanish band Dark Moor🤩🤘😎 Been a fan of them since early 2000's. 😍 Greetings from Norwegian fan🇧🇻
Another of your songs that deserves more love! Dan the essence of Epic.💖
Como pude ignorar este video tuyo 😮 Eres fabuloso, espléndido ❤❤❤ Amo tus vídeos, este me hizo emocionar bastante 😊
Thankyou, vielen dank, merci, etc yea
Magnificent ❤ I don't understand Spanish but he sang with real passion. Beautifully sang ❤
NO words , loved it .
Gorgeous performance and perfect pronunciation.
Thanks! I know it’s not much, you give so much more! Your talent and energy makes me smile when ever I listen to your music.
Unfortunately i don't understand lyrics, but it doesn't matter, this song is a masterpiece. It's definitely will be one of my favourite songs ☺️
It truly doesn't matter. I speak Portuguese and understand Spanish fluently. It's just musicality, vibratto and lots of enthusiasm. Even in Brazilian pop music I just remember some words here and there, but mostly enjoy the musical journey and don't bother with lyrics.
Brazilians are known for making up make shift English lyrics with lots of Ys at the end of every word for American songs we absolutely love. 😅
@@Tesseus2006 you're absolutely right :)
@@elenapolyashovaFound an English translation if you’re still curious…lyrics are important to me, I had to know…
CANCIÓN OF THE PIRATE
by: José de Espronceda (1808-1842)
HE breeze fair aft, all sails on high,
Ten guns on each side mounted seen,
She does not cut the sea, but fly,
A swiftly sailing brigantine;
A pirate bark, the "Dreaded" name,
For her surpassing boldness famed,
On every sea well-known and shore,
From side to side their boundaries o'er.
The moon in streaks the waves illumes
Hoarse groans the wind the rigging through;
In gentle motion raised assumes
The sea a silvery shade with blue;
Whilst singing gaily on the poop
The pirate Captain, in a group,
Sees Europe here, there Asia lies,
And Stamboul in the front arise.
"Sail on, my swift one! nothing fear;
Nor calm, nor storm, nor foeman's force,
Shall make thee yield in thy career
Or turn thee from thy course.
Despite the English cruisers fleet
We have full twenty prizes made;
And see their flags beneath my feet
A hundred nations laid.
My treasure is my gallant bark,
My only God is liberty;
My law is might, the wind my mark,
My country is the sea.
"There blindly kings fierce wars maintain,
For palms of land, when here I hold
As mine, whose power no laws restrain,
Whate'er the seas infold.
Nor is there shore around whate'er,
Or banner proud, but of my might
Is taught the valorous proofs to bear,
And made to feel my right.
My treasure is my gallant bark,
My only God is liberty;
My law is might, the wind my mark,
My country is the sea.
"Look when a ship our signals ring,
Full sail to fly how quick she's veered!
For of the sea I am the king,
My fury's to be feared;
But equally with all I share
Whate'er the wealth we take supplies;
I only seek the matchless fair,
My portion of the prize.
My treasure is my gallant bark,
My only God is liberty;
My law is might, the wind my mark,
My country is the sea.
"I am condemned to die! -- I laugh;
For, if my fates are kindly sped,
My doomer from his own ship's staff
Perhaps I'll hang instead.
And if I fall, why what is life?
For lost I gave it then as due,
When from slavery's yoke in strife
A rover! I withdrew.
My treasure is my gallant bark,
My only God is liberty;
My law is might, the wind my mark,
My country is the sea.
"My music is the Northwind's roar;
The noise when round the cable runs,
The bellowings of the Black Sea's shore,
And rolling of my guns.
And as the thunders loudly sound,
And furious the tempests rave,
I calmly rest in sleep profound,
So rocked upon the wave.
My treasure is my gallant bark,
My only God is liberty;
My law is might, the wind my mark,
My country is the sea.

Oooooh, Spanish metal. How about some Baron rojo if you ever do a Spanish song again? Any song from Volumen Brutal album would be nice.
Baron Rojo would be awesome
Baron Rojo would be epic. "Resistiré" or "Incomunicación"
This aint actually spanish metal, it is a peom from the romanticsm period, the year 1830.
TerminatorAMS yes it is, but theres is also an epic metal song by “Tierra Santa” based on that poem.
I was wondering when I would hear you sing in your native voice! Your passion is intoxicating!
I've only recently 'discovered' Dark Moor within the last year or so, so I'm still really getting used to them. This sounds absolutely FANTASTIC , or maybe we could coin a new phrase here....DANVASCTIC?!?!?!?
DANVASCTIC! Yes! Yes!
FABULOSO GLORIOSO VALEROSO!!! OLE OLE OLE❤❤❤
Wow! It's almost as enjoyable to watch Dan sing as it is to listen to him. With that emotion & passion, you can feel that song & I only understand parts of it (but am having a friend translate for me now). If there ever were a metal pirate musical, this song would have to be in it. Pirates if Penzance on steroids. Lol. So glad this came up in suggestions.
I see some young Antonio Banderos in Dan… There’s an unquenchable fire of spirit…So awesome! The presentation, range, power vocals… just incredible! Bravo! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
EL ZORRO!
yes, yes, yes and i love it!
@@VickieBlock-zu6cf, Dan told us yesterday on Side Scrollers that when he was 12, he thought he was Zorro. His parents didn’t promote that idea.
Mi sueño hecho realidad escucharte en español!!, tu español se escucha trabajado muchas felicidades!!! ojalá hagas más cover en español!!! tu voz es fantástica!!, muchas felicidades (:

LOVELY to listen to in Spanish, a musical language, thats for sure, BEAUTIFUL ❤
Dan, you epitomise the truth that boxing people into genres is totally absurd. Bravo!
Any language you sing my friend is sensational i just love hearing your voice it’s so beautiful and powerful ❤🤘😘
So well performed, energetic, positive, and charismatic. Brings a smile. And to sing in a language that is not your mother tongue, very impressive!
English isn't his native language either, he never ceases to amaze me
Exactly!@@rhondaavasalu7249
@@rhondaavasalu7249 correct..its unreal how Daniel sings in English with perfect diction, Germán, Latín, Spanish & Italian & Bra.Portuguese off course. But when He turns off DAN, his English has a thick accent. I like 2here him speaking bra.port. even if He speaks a little 2 fast 4me.

❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤awsome..thankyou again❤
Orgulloso como español por este cover
Que grande Dan!!!!! Me ha encantado escucharte en mi lengua. GRACIAS!
Oh, I love Dark Moor. Maybe do "The Sound of the Blade"? It's a sad kind of song about a knight that commits suicide out of despair for all the people he's killed in battle.
Me he sorprendido gratamente de nuevo, cantar en español es muy complejo por muchas cuestiones fonéticas, seria lindo escuchar tu prodigiosa voz interpretar un tema de Kraken.
LOVE THIS ! So much passion ! And fight !
I don't know Spanish but I know I truly love your talent.❤
Beautiful love the Spanish language. Dan sings it very well. 😊😊❤❤
This poem has always reminded me of my father. When I was little I recited it to me. I loved that he did. Thank you very much for doing this incredible cover. A greeting from Spain. 💕 Irene
Qué buena pronunciación!!! Excelente cover!! Quisiera escucharte cantar algún tema de Saurom
Ni rastro de acento, es una pasada...
