This is really gem of a pen. I left it inked for about a year and a few days ago I took it out from the drawer and it started writing with the first stroke , no skipping , no dry ink, nothing!! Their "No dry" technology is the best..

please make a long term review on preppy for both 0.2 and 0.5 nibs after converting them to EDC (eye dropper converter), i am using 0.3 and found tiny leek at the screw section which was later resolved by applying some grease and an O ring at the screw section.
would like to see for future videos:
the effect of saturated inks like camlin and bril with various nibs and various indian papers or books, also shimmering test as well on the side.

Are you using an o-ring for the eye dropper usage of the preppy? Or just the silicone grease will do?
just the silicone grease will do just fine..... but i will recommend o-ring if you are violent with your pen

Pilot Kakuno is a good pen but considering the price, Platinum Preppy is better.
The Pilot Kakuno has the Pilot Metropolitan Nib which is very good but for a Rs 950 pen, it is made up of plastic which is a let down.
(If you want to try the Pilot Metropolitan Nib but don't want to spend Rs 1500, buy Pilot Kakuno)

Which one is best flair inky Rs.50 FP or platinum preppy
For 50 rupees, Flair Inky is bang on. Amazing pen. Platinum Preppy has better quality plastic and build quality and will last you longer. But in my opinion, in India, pens like Flair Inky are much more value for money. "You can buy 7 Flair Inkys for the price of 1 Platinum Preppy"
bro i purchase platinum preppy i it is not smooth and nib fill scratchy sometimes it fill soft after some time of rest but nib is very scratchy what should i do I order pen 2 days ago i am not satisfied with pen

Nice Video.. i think the 0.2 will be good starter pen for school kids because of the lower quality paper they can use at various levels. I am thinking to gift this to my Daughter (after watching your video), earlier i was planning to gift her the Jinhao 65.
Is the Pellican 4001 water resistant like the Pilot (which i use :))?
One thing i observed is the 0.3 is costing Rs.350 and 0.2 is costing Rs. 550, I wonder will there be much difference between the 0.3 and 0.2
get the 0.3 one instead of the 0.2, not big of a difference and your daughter will love it...and no, unfortunately Pellikan 4001 is not water-resistant but only resistant to fading.
why don't you recommend bril royal blue ink over camlin for this ? any reason?
Never used Bril. I cannot recommend something I didn't use myself. How is it? I may review it in the future, nonetheless!!
@@inziify Bril is one of the best Indian-made fountain pen inks in the market, they are the ever favorite ink among document writers and govt officials here in the south. The only problem is that bril is not easily available everywhere like camlin or parker inks.

Which is better, medium or fine nib ?
Medium if you have a big handwiting. Small if your writing is very small. "Medium" is better in terms of an average daily user.

You can use it.... Ignore them. I have been using Parker Ink with Platinum Preppys for a whole year...not a single issue. Consistent Flow everytime !!
If you want a better ink nonetheless..... buy the "Pilot Ink"

@@dcgaming6036 Unfortunately there are no better inks under 200 except Parker. Any unbranded ink that you see under 200 is surely of bad quality (no quality checks) and is going to ruin your pen in the long run.

I am using the one with fine nib with waterman blue ink. Love every stroke of the pen. And with time idk if others also felt like this, but i feel like mine has gotten smoother with time. Just love this pen. I also have a pilot kokuno. But everytime my hand reaches out for preppy. Its may be because i am more comfortable with this one

Yes it is working smoothly. As good as new.
Bril Royal Blue ink is worth recommendation. It costs around 30 bucks for 60ml. In my honest opinion, the saturation, ink flow and durability of this ink is much better than it's contemporary camlin or quink inks.
I will buy and review bril inks in the future. Cant wait to try it after so many years.
Click Aristocrat is better. Although not as good looking but feed and nib are better and you can fit any no.6 nib in it. It has great build quality too

Don't use Camlin ink in it as this pen uses fibre like material to flow ink on nib. As Camlin's ink fluidity is not so good hence it just clog the pen or make ink lighter to appear.

No. Fountain Pen Nibs are really strong and sturdy. It wont get damaged so easily. (unless you drop it on the floor)

I am from Pakistan and one thing I want to tell you which is a little bit odd but here, Parker quink is more expensive than pelikan ink and same thing goes for pens except Parker vector pen.

@@MAJESTY10101 there was no drying....use it with parker ink (camlin ink will immediately get dry). Also no scratchiness. A bit less smooth than the fine nib but definitely not scratchy.

Haha due Bril torqoise ink is much better than this camlin garbage. You can also use that ink in pilot cartridge system pens and looks much more vibrant
