I love this!! My favorite spot to meet for one-to-ones (in Lewiston) is at the Bates pond. As a nature lover, I prefer meeting outside and it's so peaceful, quiet and beautiful. There's also a bonus if you like visits from ducks and turtle watching! :)
Conference Room at each others business is the best way I have found, no distractions and focus. An hour goes by too fast and time is our most valuable asset, need to make it count.
One of the best 1:1s I ever had was when we were all meeting virtually. My 1:1 partner and I parked our vehicles with our drivers windows next to each other ( 6ft apart ) and had a great (comfortable) and productive conversation ‘live and in 3D’ while still ‘socially distancing.’
Working from home, I certainly need to find good locations for one-to-ones. I hate the noisy coffee shops. I won't go back to the ones where I can't concentrate. There are others that are really good, and I will certainly continue to use them and other establishments where the noise level is moderate. Great advice, Niels!!

YESSSS, Starbucks is one of those places that is challenging. Plus, the music can be too loud to hear or concentrate. I would love a spa 1-2-1!!!!
My favorite 121 Spot is Chick-fil-A Bangor for breakfast! I might be a little biased though 🤣
