The best part of the SWOT is that it shows you the balance of good and bad, sometimes we only focus on the negative and this is a great way to regain perspective and focus!

Gala was really great this year. Thanks for all the hard work that went into the event.

Every year the Gala brings so many people together, This year was no different. It is amazing how many people said "I am not sure about the 80's theme." Then after it was all said and done, everyone seemed to love it. Great job Niels, Kelly and Kaila! Thank you for all you do.

People spell my name wrong all the time but it is usually autocorrect, not intentional. Milly always autocorrects to Molly.

I DO have a hard time with pronunciation. I try really hard, but my brain short circuits and doesn't cooperate with my tongue. I am a stickler for correct names, because people mess up my name so often, and I feel awful that I struggle to pronounce some names. Also, one sure fire way for me to not like you is to call me Pris or Prissy. Don't. Just. Don't.

People call me Patricia, Phyllis, Penelope...

My name is one of those too; always perplexed me when in a reply email they spell my name wrong.

So true, I have a member in our chapter who's last name is spelled differently from what you'd think, and unfortunately I've made this mistake. If you're reading this, you know who you are :). You'd think I'd be more sympathetic since EVERYONE spells my last name wrong.

Making a great first impression is tough to recover from if you miss the mark.

Now I want to go back into my sent emails and make sure I spelled your name correctly! I have 3 children who's name can be misspelled too, so I hear what you are saying. Thanks for your leadership, Niels!

As someone whose middle and last name can also be a first name, this happens far too often. This really does matter!

What a great message, Niels. Sometimes it burns my biscuits when I say "Hi, my name is CHRISTOPHER." and they say "hi Chris." ugh. Names are important!
