Lorene, you could also make your smaller boo boo ones into the little wooden hoops that they sell at Hobby Lobby. The ones that a lot of people have been making for floss ring bling ❤️🧵🪡
So happy to find your channel! Thanks for this tutorial. My sweet Mom made some years ago that I treasure. Never thought of turning them into needle minders! I might have to try a few myself❤️
Lorene, Your AWESOME Love your videos keep up the great work. I'm stitching them now Great idea. GOD BLESS YOU. I'm not a sewer but love your project bags wish I could make them so I could have some. GOD BLESS YOU. jo
Great how-to video. I attempted this by the seat of my pants with varying results that included some glue. The blue thing and the hammer in the last step is what I was missing!
Thank you so much, they are fab, fab, fab.Brilliant gift idea,I would be well chuffed if any one gave me one of these,so will be making some for stitchy friends. Now to find some magnets.xxxxxx
Lorene will post a link but you need Neodymium Magnets rare earth magnets either 10x2 or 3 mm or 12x2 or 3 mm round, silver in color. You can get size 8 mm at Harbor freight but those will be too small for the 1.5 inch buttons....have fun
These are just as cute as can be ! Two questions please... What chart did you use for the letter and do you use one thread over one on the 28 count ? Thanks.
One thread over one on the 28 count. The letters were from one of my cross stitch patterns. Not sure which one. I did the letters a while back. I do know I did them on 14 or 16 count aida 2 threads over 2. You can just play around with whatever lettering you may have and see if it will fit on either 1 1/2 or 1 1/8 button. :)
Hi there!! To make the buttons into needle minders is very easy to do. I use E 6000 glue to attached the magnet to the back of the button. Let it dry for 24 hours. Before glueing the magnet down, make sure to press the shank down so it will be flat enough for the magnet to laid down evenly.
