Crawl B4 U Bash! - HB R1001 Bronco - Autumn in New England

- The Bronco is back baby!
Last time out I snapped the front right drive shaft of my HB R1001 Beluga.
Lesson learned, and a new motto: Crawl B4 U Bash!
But yeah, remember to bash a little, because it's fun!
The new shafts for the front axle are made of hardened steel.
An improvement over the stainless steel shafts that came with the truck.
It was a beautiful day as we took on the backside of the Skyline trail.
Had us a little victory dance when we made the summit, and an impromptu photo shoot.
Hope you enjoyed the video as much as I did making it.
Notes: The stock tires are way too stiff, the esc is whiney, and the under-powered servo is a noisy turd. I have a new 30kg servo on hand to put in it. As well as a set of weighted wheels... just need to pick out some new tires. It never ends, does it?

🔵🔵🔵🙂🙂🙂👍👍👍🔵🔵🔵
Thanks! It was a beautiful day for crawling!
I got into rc watching videos in the fall 2 yrs ago. Im in the desert, so gotta travel a bit for the leaves! I crawl vicariously thru your fall videos! Thanks 😊
Hey man thanks, I appreciate that! My previous video was filmed only 4 days before this one. The leaves were less crunchy sounding and noticeably more vibrant. It's amazing how quickly the conditions change around here.
Nice model.
Sure is! And surprisingly affordable. It will crawl better once I get the new tires installed. Thanks for watching!

hello, Beluga is a very successful rc model, I own it myself and I am very satisfied, you made a nice video, thank you and have a nice day, George.
Thank you very much! I'm really enjoying it so far.
Cool rc and also that beautiful autumn landscape. 👍🕹️

Amazing Spot!
😮Very Beautifull Views and Great fun for the Bronco!!!
🐼👌🏻
I just mounted new wheels and tires on it! Going to take it up the front side trail next. Thanks for commenting on my favorite park!
Great video ❤️🔥
Excellent footage 👏
Thank you 🙌 I just got new wheels and tires for it.
Looks like a great place to crawl, great video 👍
Thanks, it was a great day for crawling! This is a very large State park, I've only begun to explore.
Man I miss the change of seasons up north and the landscape. Love the donuts first. Second I love that view. Puts a nice bow tie on the vid Mystic. Nice work.
Well, the first time I took it out I bashed first, broke the front axle and then tried to crawl! So this time I went about it a bit differently. Also just put new weighted wheels and softer tires on it. Should help on the smoother rocks in the next video. It's going to be a warm day tomorrow...
@ yeah warmer temps will make them grip a bit better. About 10 years ago I drove a big rig from FL to Boston every week. Always liked it up there. Tough to drive a truck in though. Roads were made for horse and buggies. Ok buddy looking forward to the next vid, peace.
Nice view i like fall time .
It really is a beautiful time of year! Thanks for watching!

@MysticRiverRC yes they are very interesting, the landscape there is beautiful.
So how long have you been into the hobby?
Nice bronco.i have one as well, completely scaled out.
That's awesome! You got the real TRX4. Mine is just a clone version. I'll have to check that video out.
@MysticRiverRC I can't tell that yours is a clone,that's a nice trx4 clone or not...great work.
@MysticRiverRC not trying to be funny but are you really in England bro?
@@dacountryone New England. Charlestown, MA That's the Boston skyline in the distance.
@@dacountryone This is the HB Toys R1001. WLToys also makes one, the 104020 I'm thinking it's called.
I've been looking at getting the r1001 for a while now. I was planning to order one this Friday. But I just saw the r1011. And I kind of have a thing for jeeps. So... :)
Just don't bash it too hard! The front axles were a bit over machined. They should have left more meat near the ball end. Replacement shafts were only 10.50 though. Good luck finding a deal, this rig was under 150. for me.
