I got into rc watching videos in the fall 2 yrs ago. Im in the desert, so gotta travel a bit for the leaves! I crawl vicariously thru your fall videos! Thanks 😊
Hey man thanks, I appreciate that! My previous video was filmed only 4 days before this one. The leaves were less crunchy sounding and noticeably more vibrant. It's amazing how quickly the conditions change around here.
Man I miss the change of seasons up north and the landscape. Love the donuts first. Second I love that view. Puts a nice bow tie on the vid Mystic. Nice work.
Well, the first time I took it out I bashed first, broke the front axle and then tried to crawl! So this time I went about it a bit differently. Also just put new weighted wheels and softer tires on it. Should help on the smoother rocks in the next video. It's going to be a warm day tomorrow...
@ yeah warmer temps will make them grip a bit better. About 10 years ago I drove a big rig from FL to Boston every week. Always liked it up there. Tough to drive a truck in though. Roads were made for horse and buggies. Ok buddy looking forward to the next vid, peace.
Looks a lot like my woods here in Maine Well leaves out of trees now. Funny my recent vidoe was crawling after leaf clearing and you can barely tell I did anything even though I put in tons of time lol. These look like great deals
I'm very happy with it. Maine isn't that far from Mass. This park is just north of Boston on route 93. A portable leaf blower would be a good idea for any crawling now!
I've been looking at getting the r1001 for a while now. I was planning to order one this Friday. But I just saw the r1011. And I kind of have a thing for jeeps. So... :)
Just don't bash it too hard! The front axles were a bit over machined. They should have left more meat near the ball end. Replacement shafts were only 10.50 though. Good luck finding a deal, this rig was under 150. for me.
Cool video very nice crawling

Thanks! It was a beautiful day for crawling!

Sure is! And surprisingly affordable. It will crawl better once I get the new tires installed. Thanks for watching!
