    This channel is great! I'm about to do my dogging course in SA to hopefully start a new career. You've really helped me out. I'm still nervous but at least I have an idea on what to expect. Thanks so much! Wish me luck! 🤞

    Thanks mate for give me some tips!
    I just got my DG and TC licenses and I’m living in Sydney.
    Companies hires people with 2/3 years of experience, how does a fresh licensed fella to do experience if nobody hire him?!? 😢

    What is the exact distance between the crane and the load have to be? Please

    is it better to boom down or extend boom for more range under a heavy load

    • @kieranstraining
      @kieranstraining  Год назад +2

      Hi Marcus, Ideally in most instances it is not advisable to telescope the boom with a load on as in telescoping mode the capacity is generally reduced and it will also put extra pressure on the boom wear pads leading to early failure. Therefore it is typically advisable to boom down with the load to achieve extra radius

      @@kieranstraining Hi Kiran, Thank you for taking the time to reply to my question, I also had another question if you are able to point me in the direction of more information I had a question regarding shock loading I know it should be avoided if possible but if it is not is there any way to account (derating tables) for it, thank you in advance

      @marcus mussawar while shock loading must always try to be avoided, in some instances such as demolition works, there is always the possibility. In Australia when conducting demolition works an extra 50% loading is allowed for. Therefore if a load was estimated to be 10 tonne then 15 tonne is allowed for in the set of the crane and rigging equipment.
