The problem with the rifle dynamics is that little port, that you just for the tuning can clog up. That happened to me after few thousand rounds.

RD701 is the production model number. The bolt on gas block can be tuned in the front face to adjust for a suppressor. It seems the muzzle break can accept a suppressor as well. Have you contacted Rifle Dynamics to see what the product specs are for the system and how to tune the combination front site gas block?

They've proven to be difficult to contact... that being said, it shoots pretty darn smooth, so I'll probably leave it as is

Difficult to contact? They have an email address on their website and Ben should get back to you in less than 3 days. If you continue to have issues let me know. @@chef.papa.6tango523

I ordered up a Fuller Phoenix build for my 1968 Polish kit back in July, hoping the QC is the same as what you are seeing. The average fuller build they figure is 40 hours from the time is hits the bench as parts to when it ships out

Damn! I was just talking with him about his production line coming in a few months. I might do a pre-order for one when they're about to release

@S F how many hours do u think they spend on them? Why would fuller have a reason to lie about the build time?

@Rick D yeah... dude was scoffing at the 40 hour build time estimate and said it was only a few hours in reality...

Yes, a rifle dynamics is simply a rig that’s properly put together with a tuned gas system and fcg. If that’s worth $2500-$3000 to someone, go for it.
Personally, I love what kusa is doing with the amount of quality AND spec parts. The only issues surfacing are assembly QC, namely rivets and coating (which they will warranty). If it’s put together properly, it’s as good as it gets imo and their spec alone surpasses PSA.
I say just give them time. I think nowadays, people forget the garbage that used to come from arsenal and Zastava. Cantered sights, bent receivers, missed coatings, horrible rivets, crooked triggers, non-concentric bores, etc.
Just imo. My 103sfs has been solid and if I had to critique anything, it’s them using a stepped spring retainer instead of a button style like the 100 series, and the coating could be a darker black with more gloss.

@Trevor Morris ill agree the kusa is a nice base gun. Out the box, very well designed... the rd gun being a lover a pound lighter, and a bit more refined really pushes it ahead in my book. Buuuut, I wouldn't hesitate, nor am I disappointed with the K usa

Hey can you guys help me out? I've always had AR's due to my work but have always wanted to add an AK to the collection. I don't know much, but I know I want a milled receiver and a folding stock of some kind lol. My research led me to KalashnikovUSA, Rifle Dynamics, and Arsenal. Anyone have any insight for me? I'd love to get trigger time with all 3+ but they're premium rifles and I don't see it happening.
