Man.. I just bought fifa 18 again after playing the recent rubbish fifas. I have to say fifa 18 was underrated. People didn't appreciate it enough. Gameplay balanced and smooth. The defending is good, just know how to defend patiently. EA really went backwards 🤦♂️
I became so depressed with Fifa games (22 and 23) on my ps5, I had to pick up Fifa 17 and 18. Suddenly the joy of football returned again. I'm sticking to these old games for good as I suspect EA and others in the industry are deliberately dumbing down the quality of games
It seems the extra processing power makes the turf look ridiculously good. I'm sure the ssd plays a part too. This game just feels like the complete package even 5 years later
If EA has their way they can still patch it deliberately to ruin it as they know gamers are reverting back to old Fifa games and boycotting that thrash called Fifa 23 that looks like a cartoon for toddlers

its the last fifa i bought. and im still playing it till today. The recent Fifas all feel like skating on the pitch and the defending is awful. You can just dribble past defenders so easily.....The last good Fifa after 15 was 18 and it ended there.
