I’m so curious if you would do this challenge closer to park closing how it would go. I know most of the rides are pretty empty at night except maybe for Peter Pan 🤔
I was there on Saturday and Sunday. About 20 minutes after fireworks was when they began opening the dark rides. Dumbo opened about 8 minutes after the fireworks. I rode the tea cups during the MSEP and it was a 5-minute wait. Without and waiting I jumped on Pinocchio, Snow-white, and toad. The canal boats had about a 15-minute wait and Casey had a 5 minute wait. I did matterhorn as single rider.
I am curious also about how this challenge would go at night and I agree with you on how beautiful it is at night. The Mad Tea Party in particular is gorgeous.
@@janinejohnson9654 The tea party at night is just the best! The lights, music and ride itself makes for some of the best ride experiences toward closing time 😁.
When he was on Dumbo anybody else screaming "Storybook...do StoryBook early!" LOL. And I know you shared the appeal of Peter Pan was the London flyover but I guess that's not enough for me to wait 45 minutes! Fantasyland can be tough.
This makes me laugh Dave.. you go to DL more than anyone and you couldn't squeeze it in in two hours..how in the world could I! I love Fantasy at night anyway..the Cannel Boats and Casey Jr take on a different light..the boats are romantic even..thanks for taking us along..fun times
You are always having fun David. Stop acting like it was such a tough day 😆. Keep up the great work. @fresh-baked What about a water ride challenge? Jungle Cruise, Pirates, Splash, Mark Twain, canoes, Storybook, Small World & Nemo
Fun video! I think late night Fantasyland is easier, as more kids are early risers than late nighters! The only ride in Fantasyland where the line isn't shorter late at night is Peter Pan! 😁
@@FreshBakedDisney Yes, 9:00 or if fireworks are happening, after fireworks. No later than 10 pm. Do the easier ones first like Toad and Pinochio, then you can do the other dark rides Snow White, Alice. Save the slow loaders for last- Dumbo, Casey Jr., Storybook. Small World and Matterhorn last. Then maybe one more ride on Mr. Toad- as it's the BEST late at night when you are punchy and your reality is already distorted LOL
@@robertjones1729 it would be more logical to start after fireworks. You just have to look at the crowd flow afterwards…because that’s a pain…also, you have to keep a look out for the Main Street electrical parade…

I'm hoping to go to disneyland in early August, and I'd love to try this challenge! I definitely think its possible in 2 hours, but you gotta do dumbo right after peter pan, because that line gets worse fast than every other slow loader... I also plan on doing (and bare with me here) not only the DCA challenge, but I also want to try to ride every ride in BOTH parks in 1 day. I really think it's possible, I tried it almost a year ago, and I only managed to miss out on 6 attractions. I think rope dropping in DCA is definitely the strategy, and you can try and get that entire park done before 1pm, and then you'd have 11 (ideally) hours in Disneyland, we'll see, hopefully I get to go in August!
Loved this challenge. I hope you do it again and see the difference in time if you did Peter Pan first, then the ride like Tea Cups, carrousel and then the dark rides.
In Maxpass days, I'd start like you did (rope drop Pan). While queuing, I'd grab a Space maxpass. Once done with Pan, I'd hit Toad, then Alice, then Tea Cups, the Dumbo, Pinocchio, Snow White, then it'd be time to head towards Space.
Order is Peter Pan, Alice, Dumbo, Toad, Casey Jr, Pinocchio or Snow. A Carousel long line isn’t to bad since it can load so many at a time. Only ride I skip is Storybookland. That wait and length of ride is a no no during early entry. Plus it’s a far better ride at night.
Had a blast with you David. So much fun to see you hustle. Not a bad Job though. My most important question is at the front of the rope drop, when everyone starts running lol, has anyone gotten hurt. It looks like so much fun though. I'll be there next Tuesday shouldn't be that crowded hopefully. But whatever it is always worth it. Blessings, we appreciate your time of sharing joy and happiness.

Ride order is critical. You saved 15-20 minutes with Pan by doing it first. If you had done snow white, pinnocchio, toad, alice, and tea cups first, you could've gone through all five of those in the first 30 minutes. Then Matterhorn, storybook, carousel, Casey jr., dumbo, then small world all would've been doable with no worse (but probably better) wait times than you already hit today.
