I recently tried Merit as well as part of the Black Friday sales. I’m very impressed with the facial oil/serum, their stick foundation/concealer and I love the lipstick in the shade Baby. It’s hands down my perfect lipstick I was searching for back when I was obsessed with finding the perfect nude lipstick. It’s absolutely gorgeous and everything I was looking for. Funny how things work, I found it when I wasn’t looking for it anymore. C’est la vie!
I have a sample of the Lawless balm, and I love it. Makes my lips look fuller, and smoother, and moisturized. Will definitely get the full size when I can. I like the eye look you created, nice rosey tone.
Definitely want to see what you think of the maracuja shift. I know it's not a new concept but I think it's cool that Tarte of all brands is doing something a little different.

Just beautiful, Jen! Everything you do looks so gorgeous on that lovely complexion of yours! If you want the birds to nest somewhere other than in your lovely wreath, just put a piece of cut fruit in the wreath - they won't nest right where they can eat. A piece of fruit ends up being a lot less messy than any type of seed, and it will work as long as you don't have year-round ants or wasps like we do here in Southern California. I'm loving your Vlogmas episodes so far - a great holiday treat!

i just bought the Energy palette and found the purple shade to be just as you said...it did not go on my eyes well, and was very patchy and skipped over the eyelid. I was so surprised at that. But the other colors are fine. I bought it mainly for the purple which is a bummer but will keep it for the other colors. Thanks for the review.

I am so happy to see Tarte getting some love! 💖 Thank you! I've been a long-time fan of the brand and feel they've been overlooked a bit. BTW, their new maracuja lipsticks are AWESOME!! Colors are beautiful, formula is soft as a down pillow, and the shape is smaller for perfect application inside the lip line. In true Tarte fashion, it stays put and lasts. Didn't budge. It's not transfer-proof, but leaves minimal amount on cups and glasses. And your lips feel like they've been pampered even after you take it off. I'm obsessed, but I'd love to get your opinion on them.
I love the Maracuja Lipstick! I talked about it in a previous video...probably one of my hauls, I can't remember now but it's such a smooth formula, I love it!
I am absolutely loving everything from Merit!!! Tiger and the new serum are in my Sephora cart and I am debating about the bronzing stick. Slip is my favorite lip color ever, and I also have the 1990. Their formula is perfect for those of us who prefer less opaque lip color!
I also love that they're a little more sheer. The bronzer stick is amazing! I have the Clay shade and it's so perfect...a little bit cool toned. Love it!

Tarte pallets are always very very similar. Those two look identical with one or two different colors, which I prob already have and can bring in. I’m kinda bummed. I love tarte formula. But those colors are disappointing. However. If you don’t have a tarte pallet close your eyes and pick one. You will be set!

There’s some new products I want to try but I have so many blushes I just got all the profusion blush hours on Black Friday and I am so happy with them and I also tried rude cosmetics a blush crush palette and I’m very impressed with their formula. And I bought quite a few pallets from Ccolor cosmetics I’m curious what their dupes are
The face tape in my opinion is too heavy and showed every single fine line I have plus. My daughter however who is in her 20s with oily skin absolutely loves it. The foundcealer is one that sits beautifully on the face
@@JenPhelps I feel like the shimmers are more on soft side than metallic. I don't like the yellow green shimmer and the duo chrome one I don't think has much pigmentation.

So it’s never sitting there months from now and you look at it and think, ya I still don’t like it……Expendable makeup funds are too hard to come by, if you aren’t happy now, return it 😃
