"The fact that Mr. Trump as a presidential candidate is saying that he is ready and wants to stop the war in Ukraine, we take that quite seriously," Putin says at a press conference in Astana, Kazakhstan, adding that he is "not familiar" with Trump's specific proposals.

The last time Ukraine attacked Russia with ATACMS killing 5, and injuring 150, on the beaches of Sevastopol, Russia told the USA that it was going to retaliate directly against the US. The US Secretary of Defence then requested, and was allowed to make an emergency call to Russia; thereafter, a Russian diplomatic plane took off for Washington, and apparently, a diffusion of the event was achieved. If the US thinks its has license to fire on Russia, and it allows Ukraine to do it, Russia might decide not to take the call the next day, from the US Secretary of Defence...
