- Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said Donald Trump should come out with his plan for ending the war with Russia. Zelenskiy talks about how a cease-fire could work out and says he did watch the debate between President Joe Biden and Trump. Zelenskiy spoke to Bloomberg's Annmarie Hordern in Kyiv on Wednesday. She recaps the interview on "Bloomberg Surveillance."

If we don't stop Russia in Ukraine, they will move on to Poland and other NATO countries we are treaty obligated to defend -- their propaganda maps shown in their country show Russia as including Poland and the Baltic countries, all NATO members, in addition to Ukraine. It's cheaper to stop them in Ukraine than later, because Ukraine has a stronger army and better defenses than the next countries, and we only need to provide aid, and not directly enter the war.

And even after it was evident in late 2022 when sanctions weren't working he went after the counter offensive thing. now after more than 2 years he suddenly finds himself surrounded with no exit in sight. Maybe that is because of his inexperience in politics and internal ukrainian affairs.

The remaining $300 billion is enough to fund their increased military spending for 4 years, then it runs out. This money is keeping them afloat in the short term. And Soviet stockpiles are keeping the war machine running -- in 2 years, they run out of artillery launcher stockpiles, 3 years APCs, and 4 years tanks, at the current rate of attrition. At that point, they will only have new production, which is less than a third of what they need to make offensive gains, and basically the war is over then.

This is terrifying to me as a 66 year old USA citizen.... Trump has the same mindset as Reagan who and I quote said. "We know only too well that war comes not when the forces of freedom are strong, but when they are weak. It is then that tyrants are tempted." As a parent you know you have to show your child that, you have their best interest at heart, and they will help you when you need them, but as young adults they have to let you figure out on your own and learn from your own mistakes because the world is changing and as we age the parents need and hope that their children will take care of them when they need them. It's called tough love and it is not easy you can't just be a "friend" you have to show love through sacrifice.
