I wanted to add another scene featuring Hod and my self-insert but assembling nugget sprites is too hard. I wish there was a program that scans your game and save files before printing out a ready-made spritesheet for your to use. Plus, there's supposed to be an epilogue where Crowley expresses relief that she's finally free from this torment while (in another room) Nemesis says that "I better keep my ass in the archives...or I'm finished!" before Finn steps into the frame. There was also another epilogue skit about having too many demon tomes but I couldn't come up with anything before the general idea. Also, giving Crowley protection actually helps in her next phase of the fight. Still, while you're here I suppose I can type out the planned pre-fight script as a bonus *[before the battle starts]* (Background - Hod's Floor, the one with tables) GuardianTempest: Welp, I didn't think this could happen. Hod: It's not like she's being unfair. She's the director of this library, after all. GT: True, but I think I need a full team. You sitting this one out may be a huge detriment to the floor's performance. Hod: It will be okay. We have unlimited chances and I heard that she will be implementing measures to make it easier for you. It's not like she's deliberately making you suffer. Whatever happens is entirely up to you. GT: That's a lot of responsibility. Hod: But you don't have to do it alone. It's not like Crowley would take issue with them and their setups. GT: You've been saying that a lot. "It's not like". Hod: Oh dear, it appears there is some leftover programming from my Sephirah days...just kidding! I just to lighten the mood with a joke. Good luck out there! In hindsight I should've brought in Turbulence Office's "Copy That" as a failsafe against Legato. It's basically Pinocchio's Learning but as an Object d'Art page.
I get the idea of an anti-cheat, but having an anti-cheat that can be tripped easily in many ways…that’s not encouraging the player to not cheat that’s encouraging them to cheat better, case in point
Thankfully Nemesis' anticheat isn't as strict. I beat him with SuperFinn and John Ruina with the full assortment of Super pages, only having weak pushback from the anticheat. In one failed run, I nailed Gray Tempest's Lockdown debuff on Crowley which inflicted power null and tripped the "don't mess with my stuff" anticheat. Presumably, other sources of power null would trip it too, which is unfortunate. Library of Ruina has a broad range of potential builds but the sensitivity of the anticheat pretty much cuts down on many of them like Gebura power stacking. In hindsight, disallowing builds also reduces the rope Crowley could hang you with. I once used a cheat passive that gave everyone Chesed's Courage page. When I got to the 2nd phase Crowley ends up outclashing everyone despite a dice range of 1-2, it was hilarious. In comparison, the King of Liberation has a script it wants you to follow (kill the mooks first without using AoE) but you have free reign on how to get there.
