NEW Audi SQ7 TFSI 2021 review: V8 fun for the whole family

- No longer a diesel, the new SQ7 is a 7-seater petrol-powered V8 monster that proves a family wagon doesn't have to be boring.
It's 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 is roughly the same as the one you'll find in the Lamborghini Urus. While the Lambo packs 650bhp, the SQ7 has been slightly detuned to 500bhp - though that's still enough to hurl you from 0-62mph in 4.1 seconds. That's crazy performance for a car weighing in excess of two tonnes. At £75,000 it also seems like a bit of a bargain, too, but you'll need to factor in the fuel bills. The hefty, hefty fuel bills. But is at a price worth paying for that glorious V8 soundtrack?

Because it wasn't mention, the Vorsprung edition starts at £96,500. I stand corrected, it was mentioned at 13 minutes in.
Lovely car, really good review as well. Actually think now with the 4.0 V8, then the S rather than the RS is the model to go for. It’s more stealth than the RS, but for £25k cheaper, the extra 0.3 of a second it takes to get to 60mph, that’s fine, would go with the S version, albeit I would go the SQ8 over the 7.

Got a 2021 Vorpsrung sat outside on my driveway. Absolutely love it! I personally think you do need the Vorsprung… cooled and massaging seats, pano roof, air suspension… all amazing!
MPG also nowhere near mid to low 20’s! My combined MPG is 15.5 currently…
Wow, that means you're getting about 300 miles or just under for a tank of fuel. And it's not a small tank either
