Grenchenberg Wandflue, Grenchen SO, Switzerland | 4K UHD 60fps

Today we take a trip to the Grenchenberg looking for the Wandflue. Lean back and enjoy the ride and the shots of the Grenchenberg.
Grenchenberg is the name of a plateau west of the Weissenstein. It belongs to the Swiss Jura.
The highest point is the ridge at 1405 m above sea level, which separates the French-speaking Jura from the German-speaking Mittelland. At the same time, the ridge forms the border between the two cantons of Bern and Solothurn.
An asphalt road leads from Grenchen over the Grenchenberg to Court. On the southern side of the road, buses of the bus company Grenchen and surroundings operate.

The Wandflue (often spelled Wandfluh) is a ridge in the mountains in the first Jura chain above Bettlach in the canton of Solothurn. The highest point is 1399 m a.s.l. The ridge drops steeply to the southeast, topped by a 2.5-kilometer-long and 50-meter-high rock face that is considered a landmark of Bettlach. The wall extends from Bettlach above the Bettlachberg mountain restaurant to the municipal area of Selzach above the Oberes Brüggli mountain restaurant. Below this wall, the area is forested, sloping to steep and almost impossible to access. Often boulders or smaller debris cones lie between the pines and larches. They are evidence of more recent, smaller quarries, but they are not a cause for concern. (Source: Wikipedia)
