- Attracting one of the biggest paying live audiences of all time, the concert of The Wall was held in Berlin on 21st July 1990. It was staged between Potsdamer Platz and the Brandenburg Gate to commemorate the fall of the Berlin Wall eight months previously.
Watched by at least 450,000 people the Scorpions opened the concert with the song 'In The Flesh?'.

Fair to say the Scorpians absolutely nailed this performance.

Dunno if Rog knew before band just how well Klaus’ voice would work with this tune but KM and the Scorps owned this.
This was the best rendition of the whole night I think...They sound splendid. And .Klaus' voice is PERFECT for this song.

My Dad taped it from Channel 4 here in the UK. When I was 9. Must have watched it 100's of times.

Scorpions and Roger Waters performing "The Wall"... whoever was there can simply die in peace. The best hard rock band worked with the best prog rock composer, unprecedented.
I miss scorpions in 70's and 80's , i miss Herman Rarebell and Francis Buchholz , please make a comeback with them , forever World Wide . Miss the sound 🦂

met a scorpions fan at my school, he didn't know this was a pink floyd song until he was like, oh hey your listening to in the flesh, I was like yeah man, and he said that's a good scorpions song, I looked at him and told him that it was a pink floyd song, and they did it for the wall live in berlin.
