--------
In this clip, B-Real spoke about making a choice not to rep Bloods in his music. He explained that he didn't want to ruin opportunities or cause problems for Sen Dog, Mellow Man Ace, or the other members of Cypress Hill. B-Real added that they came to get him to do music with them and he also wanted to show people that there was a way out of the gang life. Развлечения
Key sentence was “I had homies who gave af”.
When he said that I was thinking he's pretty lucky that he had the homies he did, a lot of other people would have discouraged their friend from pursuing bigger things cause they want them to continue struggling like everyone else. For them to have his back like that, those are good people right there.
B Real is a real one, broke down perfectly how this gang shixt goes, everyone thinks it’s one big family but there’s cliques amongst cliques and that’s why no one wins
Exactly
B-Real is a buster. How you gonna originate from a "Blood" set but when he beefed with Cube he tried to incite violence between blacks and Latinos. legendary buster smh
The Italian mob at least originally in the days of lucky Luciano did it right. It was run like a real business and everyone knew their role and the role of those up the ladder. If gangs could ever get to that level of operation there would be no stopping them.
Pee Wee doesn’t make sense to me being hip hop is Black culture with everybody tryin to infiltrate it lol
@@pfeiffdog0811 R.I.C.O................. bmf was run fairly tight from a pure outside perspective at least.
"Whatever happens to me, I chose this."
I wish 69 and his fans can fully grasp that.
If my homie tried to kill me my baby momma and mother, robbed , finessed and treated like trash I wouldn't think twice about staying silent for them and take the fall for them ??? When they played him like that??
Take the fall for them so you wont be branded a snitch??
Screw them!!!
Coming from a non 69 fan.
Totally understand why he did what he did.
@@xXxGordO241xXx Again, he chose all of that.
Right at the end of the day you are responsible for the choices u make but because nobody has accountability these days a lot of dudes won’t get that
@@hiphoprbloverjon9180 and again.
His homies CHOSE to do that.
Goes both ways sunshine.
The betrayal sais alot.
Oh what you gonna take the fall for some dumb stuupid idiots who tried to kill and rob you????

I heard they are working on one
B-Real just seems like a good dude. He seems to have the type of personality where he can make friends right away with anybody. Good interview so far.
random as hell but, I live in Alaska and he came thru to perform.....he stayed at the hotel I worked at and I served him a burger...one the most humble legends I've ever met 💯💯💯
This dude a legend. He has proven it by his longevity in the game. He paved the way for a lot of other dudes.
The song where he says giving up the family up and down central is called "Let it rain". Not throw your set in the air. Now in the throw your set video. Right before the chorus comes on you see him throw up the family F sign.
Never look back my dude unless 100% needed life is tough but it’s what we make of it at end of the day .

B Real voice when he talks compared to when he raps is some trippy shit....
I hear you fam, that nasal technique of his is sick af! To be honest nobody else could pull that shit off without sounding stupid...B-Real is the only one that does it well and to perfection!
He didn't want to rap that way but the other guys would only allow him join the group if he used that voice.

"Sen Dog you can't rap from the guts, and B-Real sounding like he got baby nuts". Sorry, had to do it.

He can flow for sure made the best decision. I grew up insane in the brain and took a hit from the hills bong before I ever had my own. Much love from this 90's kid.

Nah dj quik was banging and he repped it on records. Ain't nothing goofy bout it relax.
Naw if they could they would. The record labels weren't really having that back then
NO SHIT!! HES A REAL LATIN BLOOD!🔥😈🔥..SHIT THERE SOME SCARY DUDES IN PERSON..GANGS ARE BIG IN LOS-ANGELES, CALIFORNIA!..\CYPRESS-HILL/!!🔥😈🔥💪💪
Obviously, he wasn't an OG shot-caller serial killer type Gangbanger. But he was on the frontlines for a certain amount of time and turned his life around when he saw the opportunity to do it. That is what 99% of the gangbangers wish for in their heart. They want to get out. The guy who dissed him for doing that was a cold-blooded murderer who got killed by his own gang, because he treated them like shit as well. So think about it, who made the right decision here? There is no honor and retirement plan in gangbanging. The dissing was because of envy.

Damn I’m kinda surprised a lot of people didn’t know B-Real was a Blood. I knew that as kid growing up in the 90’s, my older cousins got me into Cypress Hill.
Same here
Maybe they didn't have a cousin who got them into it, what the fuck surprises you?
I didn't know until the beef with Cube and Mack 10 said it in the diss King of the Hill
But then again I really wasn't into Cypress except their first album which was dope
All the Blacks in LA knew he was from Swans. The word trickled down from there. It wasn't no secret he just didn't bang on wax. He just made dope music.
That’s dope! Good homies go along way.
Gangs have destroyed america and now they are glamorized like it cool to be in a gang LA is crap because of it. Cant wear certain colors and if your even a civilian you still can be killed. That is the dumbest shit ever
@Rangi Kino you kidding gangs have spread like wild fire all over cities in the United states now we have bloods crips and so forth in every city. And ms13 is causing a load of trouble and the east coast is now full of gangs that 25 years ago were never in the city like New York and philly and so forth. So people are seeing all the b.s. that gang brings to a city.
mel bias I agree to a certain point. That’s why I said “good homies” for some kids the neighborhood is the only family they get. Remember they started gangs for protection from outsiders. Not justifying it but it is what it is.
I heard Eazy diss bloods back in the day. It was probably like 1989. It was one those 900 numbers where they charge you per minute to talk to NWA. He said something like "we dont tell you what to do or not to do. You can be a crip or that other thang if you want."
Before the truce in '92
Kush & Hennessy I wish yella had gotten some unused Eazy E vocal and made a real song out of it
He says (we ain’t telling you to be a crip or that other thang whatever that is). An that’s on straight off the streets of muthafucking Compton. It’s the last song when yella is starting it off roger trout man on the hook.
@@TheMrgt27 ok I didn't know. I first heard it 89 when I was in the 8th grade. First and only 1-900 number I ever called. My father said what is this on the phone bill!!
I'm really glad to hear this.
These B-Real vids are too short!
Soon as a musician gets specific, the homies think they are owed something.
Damn b-real the more I hear you in these videos the more I’m like “damn, this mfk REAL!” 🧐😅😎

He says that line on Let It Rain, not Throw Your Set In The Air.
“Real G’s move in silence like lasagna”
That's cool that they didn't try to discourage him from doing something positive.

Gangs fill a vacuum. They fill a need. But what happens when you want more ? Maybe you want to live stress free. Maybe you might want a happy family life, a nice home, or longevity .
One of my favorite groups
Central and San pedro is swanns? I'm literally on 22nd and San pedro right now which is one street over its basically Huntington park now his section. If you from the area you know what I'm trying to say.... Without saying it.
Also shouted out his set in the verse “East side family, nigga. What ya wanna do”. The song was Ice Cube killa by cypress hill
That is why Eazy E mostly never put his Crip affiliation on wax and kept gang poltics out of his record label.
That's what's up💯
I always wondered why...
Cypress Had Beef with
Kid Frost and Lighter Shade of Brown...
And DJ Quik and his whole camp of homies...?
@Immersive VR Lighter Shade of Brown tried to go at Eazy that's why Toker said that right?
Good man.
B Real is dope. I was a Spanish major in college. I was weighing out bags listening to Latin Lingo. haha. Loved that disc.
Then I do remember Black Sunday coming out. Man I had it really going on growing the killer smoking huge blunts of hydro. I got on the deans list and was smoking all the time and everything. My buddy was failing. He was like wtf?!? Those were fun times.

The first three Cypress Hill records are untouchable to me.
Salute to your homies for real... That's how it was in my old hood too. For the most part the gang didn't fuck shit up with people with a bright future in THEIR hood. Some here and there did... like my one homie with over a 3.5 GPA and out of nowhere he walking down the street yelling 7 Mile down
I love the contrast between his rap and speaking voice. Prince was the same way
He is so fuckin dope! Cypress Hill 🎶 changed the game! Legendary lane 🐐 B-Real is still 🤴
He's speaking facts. How many up and coming artists have been killed? Not saying it's them claiming their set in their music, but they try to live that life 24/7 instead of knowing the business side of the music and getting lost in that "I'm here for a good time and not a long time" mentality.
I'm 34... My first hip Hop tape... Black Sunday Cypress Hill.... Love you boys..

I heard it was an unspoken code in LA for rappers not to mention their sets or talk shit about enemy sets because it was a way of avoiding a bunch of shit getting started on the streets
That’s a lie. The dog pound
Was screaming rollin 20s and sixties all day
@@Ktaurus26 damn you in the archives bro, this shit from 2 years ago, anyways I was talking about a few years before DPG and them came out
There's that old saying "Gangstas move in silence" everything you need to know about a real G.
Good advice! Use music as a vehicle to get away from that shit. Mixing the two together defeats the point.
The Chronic might be the greatest rap album of all time...but Cypress Hill made the first rap album talkin bout smokin weed. And that shit was a classic too.
