  • In this video I update you on the 55 gallon aquarium that is no tech, just an aquarium with no cords or strings attached. Also time to move some fish species from quarantine in to their more permanent homes in the fish barn to make room for the new ones I got from the club auction. I finally get some goldfish which I have wanted to do for quite some time and the price was too good for these to say no. Plus I have some unexpected visitors. Hope you all enjoy! If you love clean Homebred top quality aquatics and rarities check out the site below. Thanks for watching! :D

I’m glad you finally got your goldfish. Love that tank. I’m tempted to set up something similar in an extra 40.

in the 55gal tank that we had growing up we had a pair of calico fantail goldfish and they were excellent. We got them from Walmart, lol. Just like all the other fish we bought back then. Didn't know all of the sub species. But they were healthy, active, got fairly big and lived a LONG time. I haven't kept goldfish since. (this was back int he 80's) But seeing these reminds me of how cool they are.

Goldfish can jump at least the single tail commons and comets. They do not do it often but they can. I happened to be outside in my garden when one jumped out one of my small ponds. He landed on cement but I tossed him back info the pond and he was OK after a few minutes. I had jump out when a water snake was after him. I saved him, but the snail returned the next day and got him then along with another goldfish.

When I was a little girl, 10 years old, the neighbor's farm cows got out at night. I woke up feeling like somebody was staring at me and there was a cow looking right in my bedroom window. I started hollering and having a hissy fit...there's cows looking in, there's cows looking at us. My dad woke up, said you're having a bad dream, pull your covers up and go back to sleep. I hollered and cussed for the first time in my life...No I'm awake and there's cows looking at us in the windows, he laughed and said...it was just a dream...I hollered...ta hell it is...get up, look out the window, any window, there's cows LOOKING AT US!
Dad finally got up and looked, woke Mom up...Ruthie get up we got cows at the windows, I'll be damned she wasn't dreaming, there's cows at most of the windows looking in, like they want somebody to wake up and feed them or something. Then he figured it out...oh those must be farmer Schmidt's cows, bet he don't have a clue they got out. Gonna run over there in the truck and get him up and help him round these girls up. I still remember that so clearly. That cow looking at me in the middle of the night. Found out it was 1 a.m. when I woke up and all the dairy cows were in our yard looking in all the windows. I'm 65 and still remember that so vividly, one it was the first time I ever cussed in my young life and two cause cow looking at me while I was sleeping and no it wasn't a dream, lol. Cows are a trip when they get out and go wandering. At least they stay together in a herd, instead of here's a cow, there's a cow, everywhere a cow, cow. 🤣🤣🤣
