    You stick your nose into peoples' business not your finger.
    However, if you are trying to remember or figure out something and you are struggling then you say "I just can't put my finger into it".

      First one means minding people's business. The second one means, you cannot figure it out

      They were betting on the other team losing (which they did) and Lihle 's team stealing (which they also failed to do).

    In Canada we call a butt a bum. I think alot of the African words and expressions come from the UK. Even alot of the accents have a British sound. Canada used to be a part of the British Commonwealth. We still have the Queen of our money.

      Yes true we speak British English.remember SA was colonized by the great British as they use to call themselves
