Very impressed with your channel. My fiancé and I enjoy watching and learning from you. It is my hope to travel all over the States and live this life daily. I have been following you since you were small and when you just started posting videos tell you this is one of the best videos I seen or importantly I like the part that you had your wife in there speaking about her feelings and how she needed to relax more and appreciate that and I think that’s the goal that you’re trying to achieve with everyone to get out get on these trails get yourself a nice rig and really enjoy this country and enjoy the outside. What you are demonstrating so this country is such a beautiful country and if we take some advice from your wife that we should just relax leave our 9-to-5 back at home and enjoy it and I tell you this video brings out all of that keep it up you’re doing a great job
I love it when you hop in with your friends along the drive and asking them some questions. Even just hanging out and seeing you guys enjoy your time together is a great addition to the videos!
I live about 25 minutes from that area. Those are my hunting grounds for big mule bucks in the fall. Lots of great trails. I follow you guys and watch all your videos and I’m happy to see that you guys are out in eastern Washington.
It was great! Might even have been epic! Really happy that people like you take their time to learn and do videography, with everything that entails, so that others can get a taste of the amazing experiences you're having! I understand that it takes both time, effort, money and extra planning to do these things while also filming and editing it. I hope you feel it's worth it, because here's someone who's really thankful that you are doing it! Appreciate the way you structure the videos. It gives an organized impression and it's pleasant to watch. It makes me think of the scripture where it says that _"God is not a God of disorder, but of peace" (1 Corinthians 14:33)._ Order and organization, if done right, leads to peace and harmony. Also like the way you do the interviews. Not too much, and wholesome. More like conversations but with a clear objective. Having the interviews does add another dimension to it all. It's nice to hear what various people think and feel about the experiences you're sharing together.
Incredibly fun to watch and live vicariously through you guys. The east coast has its uniqueness but BDR, not so much. Brad, you are quite the gentleman to ensure your wife is safe and enjoying the adventure as well. She is a lovely person.
Retirement is a blast! I have been at it for 11 years now and since I get to do what I want to do with my time now every day is an adventure. I hope you enjoy your retirement for many years to come especially when your wife gets to as well. Thanks for all the great content and sharing your adventures.
You group of guys are exactly the type of guys i like to hang out with. I think you and your wife are amazing and work good together. So glad to see you 2 get away out in the mountains and enjoy each others company. What a great series of vids. Keep up the great work bro.
Thank you Brad and Regina for sharing your adventure with us all. My wife and I are exploring the UP of Michigan and doing it together is so much more fun. Regina joining the adventure and videos has really added a lot to your already excellent channel. Cheers!
One Of My Favorite Adventures! I love my 2020 Ram 2500 though it is not a Powerwagon it is still fairly capable. Seeing Family and Friends come together of a common interest is awesome. I am glad Regina was able to enjoy herself and want to do it more in the future. If you are even in Northern New England I'd love to tag along and maybe learn a thing or two!
The heat issue this time might be a fan deal, but heat vapor is a known deal on several of those those models including the patriot. Need to keep that fan turning etc, and often times add heat shielding around the fuel injector rail, etc.
Nate looked kinda sad you guys were done, like almost chokin em back a little. You gotta love that guy! Amazing trip, Washington looks so nice, gonna have to get up there and explore one of these days!
Pleasure getting to meet your wife. My wife and I agree with her love of trees/mountains/rivers/lakes. Glad the Powerwagon camper setup is perfect for enjoying adventures together. Thanks for bringing us along.
You make camping look so amazing. I have a 2014 2door Jeep Rubi that has some nice work done to it when I bought it from Jeep. I beg my wife to let us buy a little tear drop trailer and go camping like you guys do it but she simply does not like to “rough it”. So for now, I live my camping life vicariously through you. Thank you for all the beautiful scenery
The trick I found was to get a truck and camper with all the amenities for her and tow the jeep ;) But then my wife has always camped with me. She did the first 180 miles of the BDR with me in our 2 door Rubi with an RTT and she enjoyed it! It was a win, we just had to camp where there were facilities and Bethel Ridge is NOT one of those places LOL
Oh man, thank you for doing that! This is something accessible for me and many more local enthusiasts. Great motivation. More of us need to get and explore our own backcountry, so we understand how important it is to protect our public lands!
Nice to see you and your wife enjoyed some well deserved time together exploring and wheeling. I guess diesel is here to stay at last. Three different diesel rigs and only one gas powered truck (mostly diesel overseas). Nice!
Great music Brad! and... bringing your wife along increased the greatness of your videos 4 fold :).... isn't it amazing how video just never captures the grade of terrain.
Those bed campers are the best possible choice for overlanding in my opinion. There is nothing worse than having to tote behind a trailer when trying to enjoy the sights and sounds of traveling. Now if only I could afford one.
Glad that Regina has some insightful comments about pros/cons of the trip. I always take too much food. I like the idea of stopping in small towns to re-stock as needed.
Brad, your videos are awesome and I thoroughly enjoy your travel logs. Your trip to the Washington coast was really scenic and it looks like you and your wife had a lot of fun there. My wife and I will be going there next month. We also look forward to exploring some of the places you have visited over the years. I am always looking at maps for great trails to explore. There is a trail called the Magruder Corridor road, which is a 123 mile dirt road between Elk City, Idaho, and Darby, Montana (Forest Road 468). It winds through some very scenic wilderness, and there are some offshoot trails and USFS camp sites along the way. It looks like it would be perfect route for your Powerwagon camper. There are a lot of U-Tube videos that people have filmed while traveling this route. It looks like it would be a really neat adventure and it is definitely on my bucket list to explore. Keep on wheelin’ and happy trails! Regards, Mark (US Navy Retired).
Passed your group on the Bethel Ridge route, good to see you, wished we would have realized it was you in the moment! Glad you enjoyed your time in the PNW!
Reminds me of when I was a young man traveling with my buds in a Jeep camping all over the west coast. Thanks for taking me along on your epic adventure. Peace!
Pretty landscapes with green grass and forests are not the only thing with overlanding. Being remote is such a great feeling, in fact it's the best feeling in my opinion. Although you have a lot of people travelling with you, maybe not as good for the remote feel of peace and serenity.
@dirt lifestyle Nate!!! I’m sorry my friend I let you, Brad, Regina and Josh down on this trip I promise to make it up to you soon!!! I’m with you! Josh is a great cook and Regina! Come on! The cooking in that group is top notch!!!

Absolutely love the WABDR! I've done those sections twice and it so beautiful as you guys have said. i'll give you a tip with those pancakes. Mix them in a ziploc bag and cut the corner off. Then you can squeeze it out almost like frosting. Super easy!
When you’re towing a trailer (or not) and you’re going over mountain passes, put your Tacoma into ECT Mode and “manually” shift your automatic transmission. That’s what the ECT Mode is for. It the “power” mode for your Tacoma. Whenever we go to Seattle and go over Blewitt Pass (hywy 97) and over Snowqualmie Pass (I-90), I put my Tacoma TRD Off Road into ECT Mode every time.
My very first night in my FWC, which was at Trona Pinnacles, the wind was 40 with gusts to 50. I used the furnace to keep the temps over 50, but it was dang loud! Now that I'm retired, I plan to do all the BDR's and the CDT. I've spent over 50 nights in my FWC since I got it in Feb of this year, and I STILL over pack!

Epic views and great trails for the less modified vehicles (like mine). My daughter and her husband are moving to Washington in about a month, and I am planning a trip out that way in mid-May. Just might have to hit part of that along the way. Thanks for another fabulous video!
Hmmm....was looking forward to seeing you do Bethel Ridge and looks like you got up there but I didn't see much footage of it...though the spot you had to navigate the toyo and trailer around the ruts in the trees we came at the other direction just a few weeks ago (with shocks and springs not up to the task LOL but we made it). Anyway, as always, good video! I always learn more about filming from you each time I watch! Thanks
Nice video! Smart idea to move off the ridge when the wind picked up. My wife and I spent a sleepless night at the very top of the ridge due to the wind. The only saving grace was the cell tower 1/4 mile away. We watched Netflix on the tablet for hours that night. :)
That reminds me of a night I spent above the tree line near Breckenridge. Couldnt sleep it was 30 degrees and windy in august but I binged GoT due to the cell service haha
That’s central Washington there!! Not “eastern” til you hit the Columbia and stop seeing trees 😂
Honestly, everything east of the cascades is “Eastern” to me.
Plenty of trees in eastern Washington. Atleast not "central" eastern, but around Spokane and Colville
Only people that live there even know there is a central and eastern Washington
User name checks out😂
It didn’t say eastern. It said head east
What a great time my friend! 🙌
It was one we'll never forget! Thanks for being our host in Washington, can't wait to go back!
Look up KDMax Tune for the Tacoma. Just had it done a month ago, it will remove many of the problems you've described in the video.
