With only 1 lpa veriable pay including that is also they are paying monthly Service based companies are also paying very competitive salary to the experienced developers and for lateral entries. But for freshers salary is always low in service based Some 3-4 lpa

thats all false the salary you stated are the starting salray in attlasian or goggle if you are experienced for approx 5-6 years then these companies can easily give you more than 60-70 lpa(icluding one year of stocks) no other company can give these kind of money so yeah faang and tier one prodect based company can give you a lot of salary a service based company cant even think off so they are not hyped its the reality and the if you are experienced for than 10 years then you can earn in crores in these tier 1 PBC even tier 2 pbc pay you a lot
