I also did this last year to transition into Cloud Engineering role, basically we had access to jira or serviceNow with that we can access other team lets say Aws team queue and see what kind of tasks they are working on or what type of incidents they are resolving. First i did the Certification in Aws then i check their jira tickets and did hands on on my personal aws account in this way learned what they are doing on day to day basis and finally got into Cloud role from Datacentre ops team. 😂
