Thanks for the Crappie Connection Brad. I often listen on Apple Podcast. I put a pair of Hook and Bullet Optics sunglasses on my Christmas wish list and my wife got them for me. I wouldn't have known about Hook and Bullet Optics if it wasn't for you promoting them and having them on your show.
I got hooked on long lineing years back on lake Talquin. Some good old boys from Alabama and Mississippi took us under their wings. Love those good old boys.
Awesome video! I have been a lifelong striper fisherman but recently started crappie fishing. I used to do a lot of slip bobber fishing in the rivers but I am going to try trolling in my local lakes here in the Piedmont of NC. Can't wait to see my granddaughter pull in her first slab!
My buddy and I are very interested in trying this technique… Can we use our crappie stix? Thank you for your Chanel, i have learned a lot listening to you guys…
Great great show . Wish I knew more about ? Can’t get the words out . Not a texter .nothing down here (longbeach ms ) one lake (small) in 30 miles flint creek res . Can’t catch a crappie . Still trying .
I went LL 2 days ago and the pressure was 30.18 steady and wind was 6 mph gust of 15 and it was terrible in a small jon boat. Not one bite. I go when the wind is low.
@@crappieconnection Do you pay attention to the BP at all? I noticed I go when the BP is perfect and wind is low but don’t do good. I go when the BP is a tad high and do better. Strange.
@@crappieconnection The lake I troll in is mainly 12-25 feet deep where I troll. Do you ever use 1/4 underspins or what's your thought on using two 1/8 underspins? I usually use two 1/16 or just one 1/8, but if I'm marking fish 20 feet deep, do you think I should be running 1/4? I usually troll around .90-1.10 mph

@LetsCrappieFish no .. because I don’t want to have a negative mindset hitting the lake

@LetsCrappieFish pull double 1/8’s you should to 16’ range at 1.0
Everyone talks about rods to use, but what about rod holders? Seems like a very important necessity to long line troll.
We definitely missed that!!
Drift master on my boat
Here in Oregon we can only fish 2 rods per angler and they charge you for the second pole on your licesene.
Sucks to live with a bunch of liberal idiots…😢
Bring a couple people with you
Wow didn't know that. I would b packing the uhaul and headin east of the mighty Mississippi 😮
