Even though they just first met there they have the chemistry. 😂 The three mom's basically Tomo, Misuzu and Carol's friendship as grown ups.
This type of thing is considered an "easter egg" because the author shows in a "disguised" way how the characters would be older.
The excuse is obvious, for all intents and purposes they are their mothers.
I'm sure you've noticed other mothers from other animes who don't look much like their daughters in the way they act or even in their physical appearance.
@@AlexanderPR2 To be fair, Tomo’s mom and Mizu’s mom were friends back in school when they were younger. Also Tomo’s mom is a bit different than Tomo, she’s more aggressive and teasing than Tomo’s jolly and tough

This anime was honestly better than I thought.
I was really considering dropping it after episode 6, very glad I stuck with it because it got much better after that point
For me it's probably be been my romcom of the season. Even above Kaguya Sama which is like an all time great. I need to get back into Kaguya but for me. I liked how this anime kinda gets on with it and goes with the tomboy spin for a change, it's kinda something different and all the characters are charming in their own way. Real likable bunch and show for me, good time. I don't need a season 2 either tbh, I am very well fed.
@@F1ll1nTh3Blanks I think this show wasn't as great as The Angel Next Door, but it definitely had more of the "comedy" aspect played up and probably appeals to a wider audience. it has the makings of a classic romcom for sure, and to compare it to Kaguya-sama, it accomplishes basically the same thing in less than half the episodes and with a much more believable premise, and having better, less stupid comedy. I think this show is one anime fans will be recommending as a starter romcom for years to come

Tomo-Chan was not the anime I wanted, but it was the anime I needed. After watching consecutive dark anime’s, this was a nice, comedic break.
The trifecta of moms giving birth to their clones is awesome!

Akemi and Misaki were already besties since at least highschool. And just like Misuzu enjoys teasing Tomo and Jun, Misaki loved to tease Akemi and Gorou.
I absolutely loved this scene. Their chemistry was perfect and they fit their kids so damn well, especially Misuzu's mother.
The fact that she still found out about the play goes to show Gundo's mom was actively searching for it offscreen
Or she prolly got invited by Akemi😅
I love how the moms are so much like their daughters. I kind of want to see what Tomo, Carol, and Misuzu will look like as adults in the future.

They are too powerful to be kept in a same room,that’s why we only got this single scene of them together.
This season is a great set up for a Misuzu Gundou spin-off sequel !

I feel like every English-native woman in Japanese media has the exact same voice and I can't tell if they keep reusing the same VAs or if all the VAs are told to do the exact same voice.
Ohara Sayaka has been typecast to voice western mothers. Alice‘s mother (Shokugeki no Soma), Alice‘s mother (Kin-iro Mosaic), Carol‘s mom (Tomo-chan is a Girl), probably more. Irisviel doesn’t have that accent.
