Fitting custom Land Rover sun shades - better, cheaper and easier than window tints.

Part one of our greenlane preparation series. Here's a product I didn't know I needed until I fitted them! These car shades are available for pretty much every Land Rover and Range Rover out there. It's a 15 minute job to fit them and they look so good it's almost a factory fit. I take a few minutes fitting a full rear set to the Discovery 3 including the tailgate and even put them through thier paces on our first full greenlane trip.

I'm in the state's and my Disco came with factory tint. In my opinion it would be better to get them tinted by a professional or yourself instead of the shades.

I'm afraid not. They don't do them for Defender yet.

for Defender 110...LR Parts Website say form Defender 2020 onwards.............thats no good..... nothing for my 200tdi 110 CSW.. 😞

hey i've got same brand sunshades for my discovery sport and less than in half-a-year the 2nd row shades frames bended due to too much tension. the top horizontal bar of the frame on both sides of the car. they still do their job though and stay in their places however don't look good with the curve on the top (nobody in the car cares but i do). now i changed the car to disco5 and again look for decent car shades. Not sure if i want to buy this brand again, though genuine LR shades are about 2.5-3 times more expensive.

These shades are amazing, had a full set for my XC70 and they are very secure even at 70mph with the back windows down.
2 collies in the boot and they are strong.
For those that want to make them black out then buy these and get some black out material cut it to size and use some small tube clips and attach to the frame of these shades.
You won’t be disappointed.

Shame there isn't a complete black out version for if you sleep in the car.

I thought the same but you could use them as templates to cut out some insulation and fit behind them.

Solarplexuis sell black out tints they fit same way but with no clips needed great for camping in the back of your landy 👍
