and this film is not about body shape. you guys are focusing on the wrong thing. what about her acting, her talent. that's why they hired her. they aren't looking at her body type because that's not gonna make the film. what makes this film is the excellent acting and I think you guys need to focus on that than something so irrelevant to the film

She only has one film to her name and she's being played up as a badass action star? Scrawny women like her being given action and stunt jobs while men who have toned bodies and athletic builds and tons of skills and experience are passed over or are told to prove themselves some more if they want a job in the industry, especially in stunts. Hell, a thin but athletic/ muscular build will definitely NOT get a man a job as a stuntman and any stunt doubling for a thin man will go to a woman instead. The media is pushing that progressive narrative hard aren't we? Yet women still complain about mistreatment and sexism in the business.

+Gee Callen Or maybe...just MAYBE...it's because guys who go to see action movies really like to see scantily clad, beautiful women kicking ass.
I don't know about the other actress, but Zoe Kravitz has been in numerous action films. Saw her just last month in "Divergent".

you need to get your facts straight. In the acting industry, rolls are constantly being given to males and it's so hard to find female rolls where you actually have a great significance and you're not just some prostitute. Then there's the problem where girls don't get paid a fair amount like male all because of our gender. Females work just as hard as males and it's sad to hear this because us women try so hard to make a difference in this acting world by adding more female and diversity rolls. I if you also noticed, there were only about 6 women in the film as apposed to ALL the males. I just wish people would take a notice to this problem in the industry because it will only change if we the audience are willing to make a change.
