INGREDIENTS:
RICE - 1 CUP ( OR 250 GMS )
WATER - 1.5 CUPS ( OR 400 ML )
OIL - 1 TBSP
SALT - TO TASTE
GHEE - 1 TBSP
GARLIC - 1 ( CRUSDED OR PASTE )
CARDAMOM - 2
CABBAGE - 1 CUP ( CHOPPED FINE )
CARROT - 1 CUP ( GRATED FINE )
SPINACH ( PALAK ) - 1 CUP ( CHOPPED FINE )
TURMERIC POWDER - HALF TSP
CUMIN POWDER - 1/4 TSP
CORIANDER POWDER - HALF TSP
SALT TO TASTE

Tried this with my toddler this morning and it worked. I was so relieved to finally see her back to eating her veggies. Recently she’s been insisting only plain rice, so it’s been challenging to figure out how to include veggies and fruits back into her eating habits

My son is 2.5 years n he doesn’t eat rice 😢 i used to give him earlier dal khicadi, dal rice, masala rice but suddenly he stop eating rice from past 4-5 months.
Try quinoa? Make sure to add butter to make it yummier and add more calories. My little ones love rice and quinoa with butter and soy sauce. Butter in oatmeal too. 😊@@ashwinikadamb

Just discovered your channel. Had been searching for indian based recipes which could be eaten by the whole family as well as my toddler. I love how nutritious and tasty yet simple these recipes. They are not spicy but yet flavorful and it helps increase the variety of foods in a toddlers diet. My girl is very fussy but atleast I can introduce these foods to her and she will eventually try them 🙏

Hi, you can give after each meal ( 2-3 times a day is fine )..
on hot humid days, give 4-5 times a day :)

I usually play some music and walk ( or sometimes rocker chair) and put her to sleep.. no worries.. it will get better by 1.5 years :)
Hiii... I have tried rice and moongdal recepie by mixing it with carrot.. After feeding it.. She got indigestion problem.. She has a couple of vomthings and motions... What I have to add in order to prevent indigestion and gastric irrritation
Hi Manasa :), you can add a tiny piece of garlic and a hint of asafoetida.. also give banana an hour later to help with digestion.
@@c4cookingchannel if I puree banana.. It is becoming thick after 5 mins
