So sick to see Ghetts get his flowers recently.. been working for years and finally getting recognition. Sick tune Skepta came hard aswell. Can’t wait for Ghetts album gonna be special
At the end with the picture of the young boy with a heart in his hands, made me think about some of the horrible things I’ve read about the civil wars in some of the countries in Africa. Where they made young children fighting eat the generals heart of opposite side, that image carries so many hidden references and meanings it’s crazy
Skepta has always had the best clarity the guy is mad with it.
the chorus is just so iconic. 'i see king, i see me' next to 'IC3' is a contrast that speaks volumes. 2020 has been a fucked year but it has also been an awakening for many as to the brutality and corruption that the status quo is defined by.
The content of this track isn't aimed at me , but its amazing. There is something mesmerizing about Ghetts latest music. I think the Album will be something very special.
