This was way back 2015 and I think this cover of Daryl made some Filipino people started to notice his great talent as an RnB singer. But back then, Filipinos were more into ballad and not used to RnB sounds so he also got lots of criticisims. He was so underrated for the longest time. But over the years, Filipinos are becoming more open to different sounds, now more appreciative of his great talent and musicality perhaps also due to validation and admiration he got from the reaction videos of foreigners most especially foreign vocal coaches. Sad to say, Filipinos have that kind of mentality especially those in the showbizness. The artist need to be noticed and appreciated first by the foreigners before they will give them a well-deserved break. So thank you so much Mr. Yazik for another validation and for appreciating the talent of Daryl. Btw, you are one of my few favorite vocal coach reactors. 😊♥️
