    One of those wonderful shoulder stabilising exercises. Amy grappler had done versions of these, for sitouts, technical stand ups etc.

    Love the body weight exercises you provide. I travel on business every week and most hotel gyms suck. I also like that you go outdoors into the elements for additional challenges.

    Why is it key to main the square position?
    (Also, thanks for putting together these very detailed instructions. This is not apparent in other content on this style of movement that I have found. I love this pattern of movement.)

    • @cucciafr68
      @cucciafr68 3 года назад +1

      He talks about this in a previous bodyweight video. The square gives you great support. If your feet start to move further from your hands you can start adding unnecessary strain on the shoulders and it becomes less efficient to perform the move.

    • @MarkLaubach
      @MarkLaubach 3 года назад +1

      @@cucciafr68 Cool. Thanks. Watched the first in the series (again), and this seems to be the idea. The knee to wrist cue seems crucial. I've drifted a bit in doing these kinds of movements on occasion and will pay attention to this going forward. :-)

    • @cucciafr68
      @cucciafr68 3 года назад

      @@MarkLaubach The drift will be common in exercises like this especially when you pick up the pace. You're right about those cues being essential. It adds another layer of control in the movement.

    Serious question - I’ve been looking at your videos since recommended by RUclips to figure out how to correctly get fit (non Athlete here)
    I been walking slue foot/out toeing all my life (50 yrs). If I turn my feet straight for exercises, am I going to damage myself/ hurt my knees?

      I used to believe 5 to 6 days of hitting the gym bro science way,was the be all and end all to fitness.
