  • In this one I show you how to quiet down your noisy pedals like tube screamers, distortion pedals, compressors, ect. I'll also show you how to get rid of that darn amplifier buzz that gets louder as you turn up your amp. This can be especially useful in studio environments where you are trying to record guitar and want that crisp clean signal recording.

      Hey man I know this reply is super late but it sounds like there’s a problem with a grounding wire in your amp

    Great video. We use effects from out amp (built in effects). So we cannot figure out how to use this decimator II. We bought one. all those plugs we don't know what to put where. Every instructions use pedal boards etc. we have guitar to amp then amp to mixing board. Any help would be great!!!

    • @isaac-739
      @isaac-739 11 месяцев назад +2

      Cuz the decimator is supposed to fix noise from pedals not noise from amps. If the only fuzzing you have is from the amp then you need to turn the amp all the way up and the microphone sensitivity (not the volume) on the mixing board down. You might not be able to get rid of all buzzing

      @@matteoguitar i have kind of i found out a couple things, 1. you need to get a noise gate a good one at that, 2. the pickup on your guitar fuckin sucks ass, 3. your amp settings are making it do that, 4. it might be your pedal or grounding issue, 5. last but not least its just like that

    • @oblivion4150
      @oblivion4150 4 месяца назад +1

      I had that problem , and it was actually the neck pickup being loose. It always rang in the F-F# territory whenever I play mute power chords. Just tightened it

    hey I actually have a similar, but different problem. I have a sound coming through my amp that resembles a siren. I thought it was just my Marshall amp, so I bought a 5150 iconic series and the sound is very much still there. Any advice?

      Could be a radio wave signal from a neighbour or just ur household. Try repositioning your amp.

    My question is why does my pedal make my amp quieter? If I use the distortion channel on my head it is way louder than when I plug in a distortion pedal into my amp on the clean channel, why is that?
