❗ what can I say? I love Indianapolis, I was born in Muncie and spent my young adult life in Indianapolis, grew up there. I had good times and bad times, but it was home, I'm a 67 year old man now and I've learned for the most part life is what you make it and not what city you live in, I live in Sweet Home Alabama now, been here for the past 30 years, I know it got a dark history but it been good to me! I lived at 37th and crescent avenue when I was growing up in Indianapolis not far from crown Hill cemetery, used to climb the fence and run up to the top of the hill and look at James Whitcomb Riley's tombstone, had to stop at the dairy Queen first though and get some ice cream, GOD BLESS Y'ALL ‼️
Thanks for giving such a nostalgic feeling. I used to live in indianapolis in my childhood(well I'm still a child). Now im almost gonna become an adult and live in INDIA! Came here to relive all the sweet memories! This place just gives a feeling of home! I dont even have words to explain...
Wow everyone have interesting stories we all been through alots good and bad. Thank you for sharing your amazing story you are 68 now I assume. You live a good life I’m sure your life in Alabama is interesting and amazing too I love traveling around the world if I could so I could see the world.
Superb video. Indy means a lot to me. Me and my dad went there in December. We had an unbelievable time. It’s a place and trip that will be with me forever. And watching this video brings me back to those moments and memories. Great job!
Born in Zionsville 70 years ago, always loved Indy and so proud to see how it has evolved over the decades. Job took me to Atlanta 30 years ago but return "home" yearly.
Fantastic footage of Indianapolis my friend that was some awesome and beautiful aerial footage and ground footage I live in Indianapolis Indiana myself I just did a little drone video of the my flight of the City Lights downtown Indianapolis I just stopped by to tell you that video was fabulous and I myself definitely enjoyed it it was marvelous bro you did an excellent job on it I got you🔔 I was just wondering do you live in Indianapolis now well take care my friend and I'll see you at your next video cheers and happy flying bro
"This is it! This is life, the one you get, so go and have a ball!" "This is it! Straight ahead, and rest assured, you can't be sure at all." "So while you're here, enjoy the view. Keep on doin' what you do. Hold on tight, we'll muddle through, one day at a time." "So up on your feet. Somewhere there's music playin'. Don't you worry none, we'll just take it like it comes, one day at at time."
Edward: if you visit in the summer then down town on the circle is nice day and night. We do wats stay at the Sheridan on the circle as it's pretty nice with great prices and great rooms with views of the circle. All of Indy is historical really. Summer is nice.
@@jeffreyali3644 like most city there are places where crime is higher. Avoid North East and East Side and some part of downtown Area. The rest of the city is very safe. If you like living in family friendly and affordable living cost it’s thought to beat Indy.
I live in Canton Ohio. I must say Indianapolis is the size of Columbus. Columbus is bigger but not much bigger so they're relatively the same size and they're both the same kind of city like they like to do in both towns
0:52 -- 0:59 is the bronze statue of "Victory". She sits atop the Soldiers' and Sailors' Monument in Monument Circle in downtown Indianapolis and is over 100 years old. Not bad looking for a 125+ year-old woman.
@@WindieMillie You're welcome. If you visit Indianapolis and want to see the statue of "Victory", you won't be able to see her, at least close up. She stands 250 feet above Monument Circle in downtown Indianapolis.
Ive visited a lot of capital cities and Indy is way up there one of the BEST... Ive seen other capitals that are just way shitty ex Frankfort and Topeka lol
I'm from Jefferson City...capital of Missouri...we don't have shit...no airport...no bus station...no attended train station....hell...we don't even have a White Castles 🤣

Drove to Ohio had to pass Indianapolis city it was beautiful, not like my Chicago skyline tho
No, Chicago is very impressive!
Ok? Doesn’t have to be like Chicago
@@Red-pt6rs -I @gree with Y0u 0n this.
Indy is nice but it doesn’t even come close to the massive skyline of Downtown Chicago.
I had the misfortune of being stranded in downtown Chicago overnight...what a pit
I am from Indy and I love this city, check out Lafayette, Indiana. You would love it.
Is it anyway possible to use this footage for projects?
