european cities are so close that time to time we can get super cheap deals to other countries in continental europe (brussels in belgium to amsterdam for example), anyways it was lovely seeing you in your element and glad you enjoyed ❤ also, louise seems like a gemmm

Love this & love Paris ❤ I would recommend going up to the middle section of the Eiffel Tower 🗼... You can get proper drinks/food there, which you can't at the top, & you can see the view from there. Going right to the top (second lift) is where you get the massive queues & isn't really worth it 😊

Hiiii k live in Paris and agree that the line for the Eiffel Tower is crazyyy but if you use the stairs there’s never a line and get the ticket online too bc it’s cheaper and you skip the ticket buying line too!!!

I can relate to this, different cities and different jobs but even the language struggle was similar. I had to choose between staying in Toronto, moving to the US for work or Montréal to see my friends, live a life i thought looked better. I did not speak French, risk with work and Healthcare access (i am blind and have other disabilities so lotta complexities there.) But still I choose the big move to Montréal where its still canada but the culture is different, the food is different, im very far from my family in Northern Ontario. But I regret nothing, it was worth trying, even if it didnt go so well I think I would be happy to have tried. French is an incredibly hard language to learn. Im actually doing better in my mandarin lessons than french, which according to my linguists friends makes sense as french flow can be hard even for native speaking children to learn, its just difficult to learn. I had a lot of culture shock but kinda liked that as I'm an inherently curious person and find it interesting. The risk moving here was huge, just as your risk moving to paris first would be but its just a few months so even if it's catastrophic you already have a built in exit. If it goes well you can move back. Either way it will be an adventure, if you have the means to make it not too chaotic I say try it.
Watching you walk around paris with that bag on your arm made me so nervous. crossbody, adam! over one shoulder and on the opposite hip. also, when i was like 20 with my college french class, i got separated from my class and had to walk thru pigalle (the area with the sex shops and moulin rogue) by myself. was not fun at the time, feeling like a hen in a fox hole but it makes for a great story. even found another class member they left behind on the way! that trip was CHAOTIC. lol. so jealous but so happy for you! memory-making trip. thanks for letting us live vicariously thru you.
