I watched the VODs on your stream Vod channel while working! I missed the original stream (i don't usually watch streams live) but I'm glad i have a chance to donate! fantastic charity being raised by a wonderful person! Also, i am LOVING the Dragon Quest VIII stream! it was one of my favorite games growing up, and was one of my main Console Gaming Experiences in high school, along side Okami and Kingdom Hearts 2! and your playthrough inspired me to do another playthrough (modded 3ds version to use the Orchestral OST and upgraded graphics; couldn't get the original Jessica voice tho; the new VA is good, but not Jessica (too demure and not quite as haughty/sassy))
Turns out the weapons you unlock seem to be tied to the Piglots (which are actually Slaygrots who took the VPD, which you never found out because you skipped cutscenes) you’ve rescued. And yeah, this game kinda blew.

Also, i am LOVING the Dragon Quest VIII stream! it was one of my favorite games growing up, and was one of my main Console Gaming Experiences in high school, along side Okami and Kingdom Hearts 2! and your playthrough inspired me to do another playthrough (modded 3ds version to use the Orchestral OST and upgraded graphics; couldn't get the original Jessica voice tho; the new VA is good, but not Jessica (too demure and not quite as haughty/sassy))

This is the most ambitious crossover in history
Penny needs to play some of the old PS2 Spider-Man games. (Other than Spider-Man 3)
Turns out the weapons you unlock seem to be tied to the Piglots (which are actually Slaygrots who took the VPD, which you never found out because you skipped cutscenes) you’ve rescued.
And yeah, this game kinda blew.
Also, the Slaygrot wasn’t the first time the word “Grot” was used for the Piglots. The Tiger one you skipped the cutscene for was called the T-Grot.
