Simply amazing, this is the video that convinced me to buy the Hotone Ampero II Stomp. Such an amazing little box of pure magic! I also kove how easy the touch screen is to use when it comes to customizing a sound or making a new one from scratch. You guys at Hotone did such a wonderful job with this unit. I am very happy i own one of these stomp boxes.
I stayed away from this kind of pedal for a long time, but after seeing this video, i went ahead and purchased one and man what cool variations of sound, dynamics, and overall simplicity!! Great job guys!! Bravo Thinking of selling my other pedals, lol. Cheers
@@madiimad It is an excellent modeler. I play it threw a friedman asc10 and it's rips. I sold my simplifier deluxe pedal and kept this one. I am still learning how to use it as I am new to modelers. But I think it's worth it. Cheers

Can be a main box for dist/amp cab/modulations presets for quick access and if this acccessible for a midi looper for more footswitch option this would be great! A handy small box bbabck up perfectly upoon my kemper stage!

I bought the Amérp 2 Stomp and I am really extremely satisfied, but I have some frustrations, despite having 12 blocks I managed to use at most only 10 it is very good but if I paid for 12 I would like to use the 12, another question in Split Mixer mode the chain signal always forces you to use 6 blocks above and 6 blocks below, I would like to use a Dual Amp patch with only two blocks at the bottom and the remaining 4 at the top and this is not possible so having wasted 4 blocks unused, I would like to see some Scenes/Snapshots available in several competitors as soon as possible, and I really hope that the Stomp 2 has a constant update for software and firmware optimization and additions of effects and new features, the sound of the pedalboard is fantastic really but just that not a really good equipment... i really hope a reply from you and thanks for reading.
@@MOAB-UT Man, even after this time I still have my ampero, my only regret was believing that this would be added in future updates and you said such nonsense, I don't need to spend 3x more to have these features and another with snapshop or scenes, for example the headrush mx5 It delivers more DSP and resources for an equal value and in many cases even cheaper, the problems with the Hotone A2S are clearly software optimization for me because it has plenty of DSP, even more than the HXStomp for example.
Very interested in this unit...the amp modeling easily beats competitors in its price range (and then some). However, I don't see XLR output. Is it as simple as using a 1/4 XLR converter?
Hey Hotone, what is your commitment on updating the firmware? 1 year? 2 years? Or more? Or none at all? I'm asking because historically, all of the previous Ampero barely had any updates. Only 1 major update since 2019 for the previous Ampero and zero major update since the release of Ampero 2. Meanwhile, Line6 Helix as well as the HX Stomp which is a direct competitor of Ampero 2 that has been released since late 2018 had tons of major updates since late 2018. HX Stomp have had numerous new amps and effects since then. They also managed to increase the number of blocks on it. I'm currently deciding between Ampero 2 and HX Stomp. Ampero 2 is cheaper, have better cabs and have 12 blocks vs 8 blocks of HX Stomp. Ampero 2 have way better cab sims than HX Stomp and have a very powerful noise gate. However, if Ampero 2 is going to be left in the dust just like the previous Ampero were, I'd rather buy HX Stomp and get a lot of improvements twice a year by Line6 until the Helix lineup is obsolete which I doubt it would anytime soon since the HX Stomp XL was recently released. So again, what is your commitment in keeping the Ampero 2 alive? It's a very good hardware but certainly there are a lot of room for improvement for the Ampero 2 as long as regular updates are made to it by your software/firmware developers. IMO, modeling hardware is stagnating but the software is not. We are getting more and more accurate sonic reproduction through new software and not hardware. Therefore, I am really hoping you would be committed to updating Ampero 2 software for at least 5 years with regular updates (not 1 update after 5 years of release). @@stratslinger3921 The original Ampero just got a new update a few weeks ago. People shouldn't be so entitled to expect so many updates unless there is a glaring problem to fix. You shouldn't expect new features but should be appreciative if it receives them. I'm saying this as someone who doesn't even own original Ampero, but the fact that it received a new update 12+ months after the last one is quite impressive. If they don't answer the question, maybe it's because they can't answer because they don't know. It's like asking when Ampero III will be released.. development is like work in progress type thing.. it's ready when it's ready.
As an owner of Helix Native, I really want to buy this over an HX Stomp or Line6 box for different sounds. My only sticking point is the forced 44.1 sample rate limit on the hardware. I do sound work professionally and every other piece of hardware I use does at least 96k. I actually run all my sessions and projects at 48k, and to create aggregate devices that include the Ampero II I'd have to change all my devices to 44.1, which I can't do for client specifications. I hope a firmware update will allow 48k. This is my only sticking point but it's a big one. Please please - 48k!

@@HotoneAudio I know that Windows keeps evolving but it would be nice to preserve future compatibility for Windows 7. For example.. I have a lot of legacy music gear that requires Windows 7, and it's a shame to have to restart the PC to switch OS versions just to use one or the other. Earlier versions already support it and it would be a shame if a new firmware version that adds some great new features requires a new editor that doesn't support Windows 7 anymore since earlier versions did. Eventually it will become a reality, but more compatibility options is always a good thing. I know that I might be a rare case, but I would pay hundreds of dollars more for Ampero III if it still supported Windows 7.. For phone apps, I don't think this is super important priority. I have some MIDI controllers that are phone app only, and a mouse and keyboard on a large screen is always easier to use than a finger. Portability of a phone or pad is positive and more options is always a good thing, in the long term these things are welcomed. Having a functional editor is the most important thing. The PC/Mac Editor is actually really good and one of the strong points for Ampero, it's one of the things that can be recommended to other people and introduce them to the brand. Headrush doesn't even have an editor, so we all should be grateful that Ampero Editor works so well.
to make a note for author - it would be much better to see the guitar wich are playing at the moment. at list you can write a text on video with name and type. thank you great video the sounds are amayzing!
It sounds good but at live gig it sucks. The unit has a huge delay from when you step on the footswitch until it loads the patch. makes live performing well impossible

Is it me or do you guys suffer from an enormous chipshortage in pushing the Ampero 2 out on the market? I live in the Netherlands, and for all major webshops here it is almost impossible to deliver the Ampero 2 short term.
Amazing! But I think nowadays this kind of unity should have bluetooth. So, we could play a music together with guitar without another cables. That is a dealbreaker for me.

Why? Because they didn't demo any metal presets on this video? There's tons of videos with metal guitarists demoing Ampero. With nearly 70 amps, tons of effects and 300 presets it's safe to say metalheads are well represented in the unit.

All patches are home made at Hotone's kitchen! The playing of course comes mostly from our artists.

Is it me or do you guys suffer from an enormous chipshortage in pushing the Ampero 2 out on the market? I live in the Netherlands, and for all major webshops here it is almost impossible to deliver the Ampero 2 short term.
It's been challenging but we're solving it step by step.
I have the same! Ordered at Bax, who said 3 weeks delivery, it is almost 3 months already!

Amazing! But I think nowadays this kind of unity should have bluetooth. So, we could play a music together with guitar without another cables. That is a dealbreaker for me.

So how's it feel? My IR-200 sounds amazing but the feel ain't there. It's a great unit for what it is but there is nothing inspiring about the feel.

Why? Because they didn't demo any metal presets on this video? There's tons of videos with metal guitarists demoing Ampero. With nearly 70 amps, tons of effects and 300 presets it's safe to say metalheads are well represented in the unit.
Edit: 87 amps, 68 cabs, 100+ effects, 300 presets.
Ampero has killer sounds for metal. Its allrounder profiler.
