The bed cover looks great. Tjis is off topic but I've noticed the rear wheels clunk when the truck moves side to side. There is some kind of play in the rear wheels but this mite be normal.
Thanks! Regarding a clunking sound, I have no idea what that could be. Maybe something with the control arms? I’d have it checked out just to be on the safe side…
It’s been about a year and my cover still looks brand new. To be fair, I am in the Midwest and park inside of a garage most of the time so it hasn’t had to face anything close to the Vegas heat or sun. The latch has some adjustment though. So if over time the cover stretches due to the heat, you should be able to make a quick adjustment to add tension to the top to make it sit nice and tight when you latch it shut. As for sun-fading, I wouldn’t be able to tell you how the color would hold over time. Overall, I’ve been pretty happy with this cover, and would choose it again if I needed to based on cost and the fact that it gets the job done.
Mine’s been water-tight so far, both in downpours and car washes. Even with a pressure washer nozzle aimed at the top of the bed, it’s been great. Only water that has come in has been minor through the drain holes in the bed itself. I keep a bed-mounted winch up front and have no worries about it getting wet with the tonneau cover.
Over the past 7 months (and one mild winter) the cover is still holding up very well. Velcro still grips strong, and has not begun fraying at all. I’m still satisfied overall with it!
@@GrazGarage thanks for the feedback still deciding which one I should get 😅I like how You can fold the roll up one all the way to the back but I’m just worried about the Velcro fraying after awhile but I guess you’ve had good luck tho.
The majority of the force holding down the cover is from the tabs at the back of the bed that lock into place. The Velcro is more or less just there for adjustment so it lies flat on the side rails. The side rails do most of the waterproofing, as they have some foam underneath them to keep water out.
Very helpful video. Thanks
Great review, answered a lot of questions I was thinking of.

I’m thinking about getting this exact cover but live in Vegas. Do you think the “leather” will last?

How dry does it keep the bed in a downpour and a car wash?

But I’m guessing it isn’t the only thing keeping the cover nice and tight
