Was camping in Pisgah the last couple of days without service so I was just firing off responses when I could. Wanted to come back to let you to know I really appreciate your comment.
You’ve created the best preview for Jarrod’s Place to date and can seriously shred. I’m just a beginner and got into MTB late in the game, but hopefully this park will help me progress. I was there yesterday too and still working on my cut. I used the max lens mod and all my front footage is fisheye garbage. I’ll be back up there next wkd. Again, fantastic job!! Subbed!
Thanks dude! I'm new too, all you can do is get better every day! The best way I've found to progress is TIS (Time In Saddle)... just gotta ride as much as possible. Think I saw you out there yesterday. Keep shredding!
Good job clearing the gap jumps. I'm always a little intimidated when I see them. I'm new to the local Georgia trails. I really appreciate you doing these videos. I live near Big Creek Park in Roswell. So everything is a bit of a hike. It's good to get an idea of the trails before driving 1.5 -2hours.
100%. That’s where I was based too. Big creek free ride is one of the best spots to get comfortable with skills. That’s basically where I learned how to ride a bike. You do have to drive an hour or so to get to the really good spots but they’re all worth it imo
Subscribed! Thanks for showcasing all those GA. trails! Looks like I have a lot of traveling to do, didn’t know all these great locations existed near me!!!
I really see your channel growing pretty big fast! Your vids are super super good and you are really the only one right now showing off the things in the southeast! Best footage of Jarrods place so far by an absolute long shot. What day of the week did you go it doesn't look crowded at all?
Thanks dude! You were one of the first to subscribe so I appreciate you sticking with me. That was opening day (Saturday). There were some waits for a shuttle but no more than 10 minutes or so. It was really efficient.
Great vid mate, awesome preview of all those tracks & the riding skill is great to watch. Some very sketchy parts to those later tracks but you did really well! Thanks MTB H, earnt yourself a Sub👍🎉
I feel like I’m getting there. Maybe next time I go I’ll hit em. When I was there for the enduro a month ago I wasn’t even close so slowly but surely. The progression is noticeable at least. Thanks for the comment!
There's something for everyone here. Probably my all-time favorite place to ride for that reason. Flow, chunk, steep, and jumps. They really have it all
Hey bud! I stopped and helped you look for the gopro. Glad you made it out alright. Good job on that step up on air supply, not many people hitting that one 🤙
Thanks dude! Got it epoxied back on when I got home. Appreciate you stopping. Turns out the reason my crash wasn't too bad was because there was some poison ivy that cushioned my fall 😂.
Just found your channel thxs. I'll be checking all your videos when I have time looking for new better places to ride I love blanket creek, it's just a haul for me.
Brother I can’t tell if your that good or that crazy to be hitting some of the stuff u hit on the bike u do. Just found your channel. Awesome!🤙🏻 stay gnarly.
Thanks! This is every trail except for Kiddie Play Place, Drop Zone (small drops for learning), and the climb trails so I'd say it's a pretty good preview. This is definitely not going to be my last time there so maybe so. Just a heads up, I think they only run the shuttle Thursday-Sunday so I would check on that. Website link in description.
Hello ! Great video ✌️😎 hey I have one question can anyone ride this trail with a hard tail bike ? Or have to be enduro bike ? Thanks keep doing a great videos 🙏
Personally, I would only ride a hardtail on the jump trails. Otherwise, yes, I would want to have a full suspension. If you don’t have one, you can rent one from the park.
We are moving out that way in a couple weeks from SoCal. Excited to ride new trails. Several of those trails don't look finished. Are they still works in progress or is that just what a lot of trails look like out there? I know it is a brand new park, so just curious.
I'm not sure... they're pretty frickin sweet either way. But I know that they are still putting amenities in like bike wash, shade tents, etc. so I'm sure they're still building new trails and improving/maintaining existing ones
Hey man, probably not for a little while, unfortunately. I went out for an after work ride 3 weeks ago and broke my collarbone… now I’m feeling like I tore my rotator cuff so I’ll be getting that checked out soon. If I have to get surgery on something like that, I’ll be out for 6 months. I don’t know officially yet, but my shoulder doesn’t feel great so not a good outlook at the moment.
@@coralhound yup. Moved in December to learn how to ski and have quicker access to bike trails. Hopefully, I can get some videos going when I heal up. That’s been the biggest letdown from the move. A lot more time spent outside and working means less time for making videos
Sorry for the late reply. It really depends on where/what I’m riding. 22psi front 24psi rear for if I’m riding something loose but not too gnarly. 24psi front 26psi rear if im riding park or chunky rocks (although I went through two rear wheels this summer riding Trestle every weekend at this psi). Will probably bump up to 25-26 front 27-28 rear this year to save my wheels.
Awesome video bro!! You're making me want to get out there and shred. Just.. maybe change your channel profile picture to something other than a road bike with curly bars.... its a bit of a disgrace.
Thanks dude! Disgrace is a strong word, my friend… My cousin designed it for me when I started the channel. Maybe we’ll do some retooling when I see her next.
It’s probably 35 feet? The good news is I found it impossible to overshoot. I was flying and barely cleared it. Even put some pedals into it coming around the corner. Also, you lose a bunch of speed at the top of your arc so if things went wrong and you came up short I think you could bail pretty safely.
@@patrickwoods2165 thanks! I definitely had to pedal a good bit but I’m not quite there with jumping yet so I don’t know if someone with more skill would’ve had to pedal as much as I did. Thanks for the comment!
jarrodsplacebikepark.com I would visit this bike park if I only had a day. It is about an hour and a half drive from Atlanta. They have easy trails and hard trails and you can also rent a full suspension E-bike. I'm not sure if they have regular full suspension bikes.
You are creating some great content man. Ive been watching for a while and you are progressing very well. Keep up the great work!

Wasn't sure what to except clicking on this video but you nailed every box.
Quality, skill, speed, no fluff. The retrys were worth it. Perfect
Thank you!
This looks solid man, the quality that is. JP looks insane always lol.
This is the best Jarrods Place video I've seen so far, I'll sub for that :P
🤘Thanks! Have you been yet?

It's definitely a lot more rutted out there now! Awesome riding man!
Thanks! I'm sure they'll do some maintenance here and there. That's what happens when you mix a lot of tires with dry dirt and rain!
This really makes me appreciate the suspension on my dirt bike.
Wow, you're a great rider! Very quick through those tight trees!
great video, im gonna have to go up and ride soon. senior discount and air supply look so fun!
It’s a must see spot in my opinion. Every time I go I have a blast
Love your videos, you shred that bike man
That was me at the turn for Senior Discount! Hahaha love the video

So sick! Appreciate the comment!
Great video! I will need to hit this next time I hit the east coast. Looks super flown and delicious.

Props to you for doing these on a Spark. They are pretty tough, off camber, chunky trails. What size fork you rocking on there?
