The Beamish museum is a lot bigger than i had imagined but its worth a visit though like you say you really need to wear good walking shoes. Ive only seen small parts of the museum on tv while watching Catherine Cooksen films. Thankyou for taking us along. Went to beamish 2 years ago on a very hot day. Was still recovering from surgery so the walking was a struggle, bit it's an amazing place. My hubby is a builder, does a lot of heritage work. Him and his company built the police houses and the cottages around the bowling green. We get in free. Merry Christmas to you all ❤ xx
