- A Magnificent Antique REGINA MUSIC BOX for sale, in Quarter-sawn OAK With Rare Matching OAK Original Base Cabinet Disk / Discs Holder and twenty-eight 15 1/2" music disks from the l890's. Here are nine tunes:

This sounds like heaven. I love how the way the note dies off (decay) blends into the next note, making the whole piece of music sort of float in space. Much sweeter and in better tune than most other music boxes, some of which are sort of plinky and sound like a child's jack-in-the-box. This one is very sweet and takes you back to another time.
I have a Regina too! Inherited from my grandmother but listening to it my whole life. I also inherited a dresser full of the records...too many to count.

@ferociousgumby Thank you, glad you liked it. I feel the same way. Just LOVE this music box. It has a resonance and fullness of sound that many other music boxes don't come close to, and thrills me every time I listen to it. And it sounds oh, so much better in person!
No, the music box is not sold yet. I will try to make a video of the last 10 disks -- or what I can fit (RUclips has a 10-minute time limit). You have good ears! The birds you hear in the background are Lady Gouldian Finches, which I raise. I have a cage that is right next to the music box, and when I play it, they just love to sing along. Yes, I'd love to hear also the rest of your discs, and I don't believe, that you have to go over the limit, cause they are only 10. - I must have good ears, cause I'm a "blinduser", as I wrote into the description of my first video. So far you can only know that, but in my next videos, where you can see me too, you will see it. Regards from my 143 music boxes (9 are antique disc boxes) and me to your nice finches and you.
