Early Spring Motorcycle Camping in Near-Freezing Temperatures: First Moto Camping Trip of the Year

We got out on our first motorcycle camping trip of the year in the very earliest days of spring. This was the first time ever motocamping for my buddy Ducfan on his Yamaha WR250R and while I've gone motorcycle camping before, this was the first time I've ever done so on my Honda Africa Twin. Come along as we ride our motorcycles onto public lands for some dispersed camping. I also had a chance to capture some epic moto camping drone footage of our campsite and the surrounding forest.
Everything was super fun until it came time to go to bed. The near-freezing temperatures proved to be too much for our motocamping sleeping bags, and both of us spent most of the night freezing and uncomfortable. Lesson learned for the next trip: bring a warmer motorcycle camping sleeping bag. The next morning we had a small fire, made some coffee, and packed up our moto camping gear before heading home. Along the way I managed to drop my Honda Africa Twin in just about the stupidest way possible, so make sure you watch until the very end of this moto camping trip video!
