I’m a Steph fan, but this is just the chickens coming home to roost for the Warriors. That org was fine with Draymond’s antics when they were winning and let him get away with anything. Yeah, trading the victim of 1 of draymond's attacks basically signaled to him that he can do whatever he wants. The warriors were never gonna let draymond walk but they decided to pay the younger guys before him to try to drive his price down. Instead it enrage him and he attacked 1 of them and because they wanted to keep him no matter what they couldnt discipline him. Yes draymond's behavior is his responsibility but they shouldn't have played games with him if they knew they were keeping him no matter what

And I don't think it was his vibe that rub people the wrong way, but more like he didn't have the warrant to be constantly talking shit. I have to nominate the Spurs giving Zach Collins 2 years, $35 million as a contract they regret. Not only because the defense completely falls apart the second he checks in for Wemby, but because it also killed the Spurs ability to sign any free agents this summer. Now they can't clear much more than MLE level capspace on a team in desperate need of veteran help. They gave him that big extension last summer because he shot 37% from the three last season while this season that has completely dried up and he's only shooting 31% from the three while being an absolute turnstile defensively.
Also that Grant Williams trade cost the Mavs an unprotected 2030 pick swap with the Spurs. Hope that pays off for San Antonio.

Which is weird because Steph was drafted three years before Draymond. If anything Steph is the golden child while Green is the obnoxious lil brother the parents expect the oldest sibling to take care of

I’m not a golden state fan. But with how important this trio is, everyone knows they are not getting rid of this trio, no matter the situation. Plus, at least Draymond is a decent leader for the young core. But his contract is still ridiculous
